Love this game! Completely agree with you about the walls, though. I wish they would break up the grid a bit and allow us to use curved walls like they did with the roads. Too bad… Maybe in a future update, fingers crossed. Great review!
I'm not religious and I don't go to church, but I wouldn't like the intentional omission of churches (an integral part of medieval life), especially in a game that attempts any degree of realism. Such an omission would suggest an agenda, which I do not like in game design. I hope that this is not what the developers have done.
Reaching the conclusion that this "suggests an agenda" is quite an Olympic jump, especially when we're talking about an unfinished game. So far they've focused on economics, and knowing that people and culture is a whole different mechanic that will surely be added later is a more reasonable conclusion than calling out a conspiracy.
Great video! I'll be checking this game out :D

Thanks for comment :) Yeah, hopefully they get to this. The walls can make your cities look a little unrealistic with their squareness.
Good job. Thank you. I take exception to the use of the word Abandoned to describe Banished but otherwise your video was very well done.
He’s back and better than EVER! Top review, going to give this one a go.
Haha thanks pal!

Gave this game a try, I didn't enjoy it personally but this review hits the nail on the head. Great review, great game, just not for me.
