Skate parks get boring after some months of skating them, that is also why we resort to street spots. Most cities don't want to invest in any skate parks nor do they want to invest in multiple skateparks so that there is something new to skate, so we mostly just go out and have fun around the streets. To be honest, I do not care if I am annoying some person on the street by doing ollies over something

Eric, this made me laugh. I'm 44. My birthday is soon. Age 45. I've been skating as long as you. Google didn't exist when I started in grade school. This was a funny video.

i mean, from a bystander perspective a skater doing stunts everywhere in the college can be difficult to understand and even tolerate, also because its something seen as "rad" and "free" no one wants to be paired with guards and old folk when they start getting in the way of skaters and their tricks at campus, so yeah, i used to skate at my college all days for years, i always ran down on cops, guards and old teachers thinking they represent law, and if my college had more skaters i can get how they can turn very annoiying, even i dont like the idea of more than a dozen skaters at a place doing anything.

I skate but I get why a pedestrian would get annoyed at the loud landing when doing tricks and wheels squeaking when you slide on a trick or revert, when I started skating my teeth and body tickled at that sound😂

As a skateboarder a lot of the younger skaters who all try to dress a certain way to fit in and act a certain way to get excepted by those at the skatepark the annoying ones! Be your self and enjoy skateboarding don’t do it just to be cool or to fit in
Yup i once cringed when one of those younger skaters like 18 years old at the skatepark asked us "whats a trick i can learn so that i can look cool on a skateboard?" He didnt get a response hahahah

Everytime I see a kid with an actual skateboard on campus at my university, I get a little excited because 9/10 times it's a long board or an electric board. Then 9/10 times they mall grab it and it's a fruity element or dgk lol.
I give people credit for actually just possessing a skateboard though. For whatever reason the majority of students here with real skateboards are girls, respect.

Skateboarding was born in the streets, so it's not going anywhere. However, that doesn't mean 90% of people riding them - particularly on college campuses - aren't oblivious, unskilled menaces to themselves and others.

I used to skate for many years and I find the agro skaters annoying that want to fight every security guard for doing there job.
