  • The legendary Paul Dear, Norm Smith Medalist, 1991 Hawthorn Football Club premiership player and pancreatic cancer survivor, made an inspiring appearance on Channel 7’s The Front Bar. Paul spoke movingly about his personal journey with pancreatic cancer over the past 12-months and the state of pancreatic cancer today, drawing attention to the issues around late diagnosis, no early detection testing, low-survival rates and limited treatment options.
Paul also helped raise awareness of Pancare Foundation and our patient support services - this has already resulted in recently diagnosed patients and their loved ones reaching out for support.
Thank you, Paul and wife Cherie, for doing so much for the cause and helping Australians impacted by pancreatic and upper gastrointestinal cancers access the support they need.💜
With thanks to The Front Bar for this wonderful segment and access to the footage.
