      The best good faith reading of that would be that with better training you would need fewer cops or less equipment. I don't believe that's what they mean but that could be the defense given.

    You forgot one golden piece of the "Wendys drive thru shooting"..they had fought for tasers to be considered deadly weapons so they could punish cops for using them, then when he was shot after taking the cop's taser and turning on him with it..they said it wasn't a deadly weapon so the cop should be responsible for shooting him since the cop "was never in danger"

      The leader of antifa is someone within the government. Probably a higher up in the DOJ or FBI who is unelected and doesn't get swapped out with each president. I mean, we know the FBI has undercover agents watch antifa recruit in colleges, we have other undercover FBI agents arrest antifa members for felonies only for them to be let go without charges.
      The head of the antifa is taking notes from Gerbils playbook while staying anonymous, so we can't call him out. It's not a coincidence that so many antifa members have college debt that biden tried to forgive, that are all loans from the government, we pay tax money to send children to be groomed in colleges to become a terrist member at the beck and call of the Democrat party.

    The narrative around 'cop city' is the same as when a city bought a "the rook" which is just one of those bobcat compact track loaders but armored up and it has an armored platform 3 swat officers stand on so they can easily and safely get access to a 2nd story of a building. Something for swat to use with barricaded suspects and such got turned into screeching that it will be used to run down peaceful protestors as if it's a full blown bulldozer.
    Cop city is a mock city for active shooter and crowd control training and more, and antifa and their simps got it in their mind it's a base for paramilitary training to gun down antifa or actual peaceful protestors. They did more terroristic activity with fireworks and flammables than any j6 person did so the outrage about their arrest is rediculous, this is just Jimmy pushing his usual anticop bs

      At this point the Left cant convince me that ANTIFA is anything other than a fascist terrorist group. It needs to be investigated and brought down.

    36:12 . Saying you should be arrested because you are standing around and providing cover can actually turn into a dangerous precedent for people to be charged with, I don’t think that is a great idea, District Attorneys can and will abuse the hell out of that.

    • @jaxmiller724
      @jaxmiller724 Рік тому

      tbf I think there is some specificity. So using that concept people that trespassed in the capital are liable for providing cover for the actions of those in it, but if you're protesting in the street you didn't trespass onto private property. So basically the argument is more if you are committing a crime with other people, even if you're not the one doing the most illegal stuff, you're still part of the group.

    • @theoverunderthinker
      @theoverunderthinker Рік тому +1

      it you are "providing cover" then you are helping the people doing the really illegal shit, so some of that rubs off on you.
      if you don't want to be arrested alongside them, then don't stand next to them when they are doing illegal stuff. watch from across the street or at home.

    I was at protests in London around the Iraq war when Nike got smashed to pieces and the people doing it weren't protesters. some protesters graffitied it, but most of the damage done to it, was done by kids who were taking advantage of the lawlessness to smash things and steal. For a short time London police did a very sensible thing and started walking the protest with the protestors. This massively de escalated the way the protests went. Unfortunately now our government have all but completely outlawed protest, but we had it right for a good 10 years until the Tories fucked it all up.
    I have no doubt that protestors didn't burn Wendy's and it was way more likely groups of kids who are acting out of a sense of lawlessness. Perhaps if police stood back from protest, while monitoring it for public safety, and only went after problem people, they'd get more respect, but they don't. They tar everyone with one brush and pull out riot shields, pepper spray and guns and then you have a mob moving as one, which is way worse.

    • @solanumlycopersicum5594
      @solanumlycopersicum5594 Рік тому

      Police simply walking inside an ordered protest to be a calming influence sounds great.
      This, rather than having them be positioned in opposition to the protest, seems to be sensible.
      Problem is, it makes it look like the police are supporting the protest, which could get troublesome as soon as the protest is controversial, for example a literal Nazi march in the US, like in Blues Brothers^^
      Also, if there is a counter protest, do cops walk with both?

The typical test...or at least what was the typical test...it they fire a new round through the weapon into tank of water or medium that won't mark the round...then compare to the round in evidence. Maybe its changed in last 10 years or do but... I saw a demo of this when I working with a Firearm training system.

    Yeah, you can't really say that you want cops to be better trained and then protest the place for training. That being said, I don't know that cop city itself is particularly innovative in their training. I know many precints across America have bottom of the barrel training, especially when compared to European countries, so it's probably at least an aim at above average training, one would hope?
