I have been following Nora's music since 2003, when she took home 4 Grammy's. Anyone else remember that? I was totally blown away by her voice, first time I heard "Don't Know Why" on the radio. She is amazing.
Obviously one of the most under rated entertainers today. As good as most on the "top fourty". How could you not like the sultry voice, the musicianship, and the beauty of this womans work.
sings, plays piano and guitar and interprets songs. she doesn't bounce all over the stage. she can interpret blues and country music with the same intensity, bringing out the soul and emotion of both genres. yes, who can't help loving her.
In my life I have buried both sons due to suicides, my only son in law to massive stroke, thought I had married my Jnr high sweetheart/ soul mate, but after 41years of suffering her numerous infidelities, surviving for my daughter and granddaughters, listening to Norah Jones voice lyrics music , I just lay here resting my soul, thank you!
Tonight you're mine...COMPLETELY You give your love...SO SWEETLY Tonight the light of love is in your ...EYES WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME TOMORROW? Is this a lasting...TREASURE? Or just a moment's ...PLEASURE? Can I believe the magic of your ...SIGHT? WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME TOMORROW? Tonight with words...UNSPOKEN You say that I'm ..THE ONLY ONE But will my heart be BROKEN? When the nights meet the MORNING STAR? I would like to know that your love Is love I can be sure of So tell me now and I won't ask again WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME TOMORROW?
Yes, I'm going to be "That" person but out of respect to Carol King & Gerry Goffin (RIP) the correct lyrics are: Tonight you're mine completely You give your love so sweetly Tonight the light of love is in your eyes But will you love me tomorrow Is this a lasting treasure Or just a moment's pleasure Can I believe the magic of your sigh Will you still love me tomorrow Tonight with words unspoken You say that I'm the only one But will my heart be broken When the night meets the morning sun I'd like to know that your love Is love I can be sure of So tell me now and I won't ask again Will you still love me tomorrow Will you still love me tomorrow Will you still love me tomorrow Will you still love me tomorrow
she is a real singer she just lets it all out , its all in her soul the storys she sings its all about her an d she love what she life for that sweet thanks
Norah I will still love you tomorrow. What a smooth, sultry voice. And she gets more beautiful with age. I've had the pleasure of seeing her live. What a treat!
Norah Jones is the real deal. An amazing voice, also an accomplished musician. And....wait for it....no theatrics. Just pure unadulterated talent. Love her.💖
As strange as it sounds, I think Norah Jones has effected my life more than anything or anyone else. She is the reason I began playing piano when I was younger, and she gave me the ability to love music as much as I do. So, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. :)
Who could not love Norah Jones? Imagine her loving you! Wow! What a trip that would be! She is so cute and so down to earth pretty! A living doll in my opinion.... Great pictures of her & thanks for posting! Her singing is so peaceful... JJK
I've listened to a number of versions of this today and this one is certainly up there with the best. The song is so simple, tender and direct that the ones that bring out it's strength are the those who let the lyrics shine. Shirelles, Winehouse and others are fine, but I think the King/Taylor duet at the Troubador stands above them all. The pace, simple orchestration and plaintive harmonies between the 2 make it so powerful. There is no escaping the lyrics in that version - you are forced to dwell in them. Seems like you have so much time to get your mind around them, really feel them.
I'm glad i asked him this question. Even though i'm disappointed with the turn out i'm still thankful I didn't get so much involved before knowing the truth
You fall in love with her just by hearing her songs and voice, then when you see how beautiful she is there is no way to not feel sweet on her… Hope she does much more and keeps getting better!
The loss of Norah's father this week was another of the week's tragedies. Hearing "Sounds of the Sitar" nearly 47 years ago (before the Beatles) was mind expanding and addictive. Norah is as captivating.
I'm 19 and I listen to this masterpiece evryday these days, I think i'll keep this up my whole life. I wish it was published on streaming platforms.... it's just love
The Shirallees, Carol King herself, Amy Winehouse... each one made this great song their own. But this cover has an intimate, torchy quality that must have been always there but nobody else discovered it.
It was touching and nice to see the photograph of Steve Jobs giving Norah Jones such a warm kiss. Great guy, glad he got to do that...plus hear her sing. At that time in his life he was a sick and dying man, and he knew it. Glad that he got some warmth even at this time in his life.
For you Norah, Love the voice, soft as a baby kitten and sweet as honey from the comb, Fill me with your music, tiptoe through my mind when I'm all alone. If youth was possible to fetch it from a star, I would bask in your warmth, be a slave to your charm. ~ dht
Yes indeed xkiss. She's one of the best! But the best singers are rare. I love her so much. Her style won't be running out even in centuries. thank's to emiliano, he uploaded this piece.:-D
She sings all of her songs with so much soft feelings.I could listen to her all day. What a talented young lady.

She sure made this song sound so much more romantic. I love this version.

a RARE breed these days - obscenely talented and pure...

A great rendition of a classic. Will always listen to Norah and James Taylor with Carole King. Nobody could have done it better than Norah.
There are no words, this song is simply amazing and Norah's voice is so heavenly.
Norah Jones is the real deal. An amazing voice, also an accomplished musician. And....wait for it....no theatrics. Just pure unadulterated talent. Love her.💖
Such a smooth mellow version of an unforgettable classic oldie but goodie!
J'adore Norah Jones et je ne me lasse pas d'écouter toutes ses chansons? Elle a une de ces voix qui vous transporte et saisit aux tripes
This is the kind of song you slow dance to in your living room with candles ❤ beautiful
mostly agree, but I think slow dancing with another person would be better or at least as good.
I'll try this this evening with my bride of 46 years.!!! ( naked )
@@joesmelser2784 we're just 37 years ... haha - :-) :-) know what you mean tho!

She is so amazing!! Thank you Norah, your gift is amazing.
It doesn't get much better than Carole King's writing and Norah's voice! Such a heartbreaking, solitary take on this tune.
Ooooh Lord this woman is beautiful....
What a beautiful woman....and the best singer of the last 50 years.
sweetest voice on earth. She creates a soft and tender atmosphere, smooth and nostalgic interpretation.
I'm glad i asked him this question. Even though i'm disappointed with the turn out i'm still thankful I didn't get so much involved before knowing the truth

I think Norah gave the song real meaning. Her voice sounded softer, sadder, like she was pleading with him. Amy just didn't have the emotion Norah has
