First time hearing/watching this song/video. I must say, Olamide has a unique style. His rap is kinda 'raw' but fits into every beat. Nice tune by all standards even though I don't understand a word.
the first video of the year and make sense nice work my guy Olamide i know you're not getting tired because you talk am on ghost-mood i trust you and phyno .. i wish you the best year ... keep the flag high
This is my best olamide song. I had just turned 13 when it came out. The reason its my best olamide song is because at the time it came out my life was at its peak (so far). We had moved into our knew house, my brother who had just gone to the uk to studies and my aunty and family came for that christmas holiday, my cousins also came for holiday, my dad gave us money to shop for things ourselves, i went to parties and a lot more. That was the best holiday ever and was to me the best part of my life so far. This song back then didnt mean anything but every event or place i hear it i get a nostalgic attack. It feels good to think about those good days but then it starts to hurt that their gone. Olamide!!! Your music is the true example of what people call music as universal. As a delta boy i dont understand Yoruba but you make it seem like i know the words. Keep producing hits mehn
THIS IS MY 2 YEAR OLD SON'S FAVORITE SONG.......HE FINDS IT HIMSELF ON YOU TUBE AND STARTS DANCING. DADDY LOVES YOU, AND JUST LIKE OLAMIDE IS SAYING HERE, YOUR ENEMIES WILL FOREVER BE RENDERED USELESS. YOU WILL BALL ALWAYS AND LEAD YOUR GENERATION... YOU ALREADY HAVE HOUSES AND LAND SO ONLY MORE CAN COME FROM THIS POINT ON.
Quand un morceau est bien chanté et bien produit, on n'a pas besoin de comprendre les paroles pour apprécier. C'est ça le pouvoir de la musique. It's not worth to understand lyrics to appreciate a song when it's well produced and sung. This is the power of music.

Eleda mi means my God.. and he was basically saying that he'll build houses, he'll have money and cars and he'll shame his enemies and the devil... that is like the summary of the chorus
I don"t understand single yoruba. but i don"t expect this great work from olamide. he really done a great work here the music and the video is real. i enjoy it

Liking the song without understanding it is so awesome but the translation take it to a whole new level. He is basically confirming with God that he will be successful in life and be rich and his enemies will never know peace. I think everyone can relate to that...
I don't know about anyone else but i still vibe to this till today.
Not only you my dear, though I'm Igbo and do not understand all the lyrics, yet I've always loved the song. Some of these artists make us know that we are all one and must love up, tribe never matters.

Good Job mate! Keep the ball rolling. I like that!!! Ade from London. GOODLUCK.
i swear Am In love with the song ,,,i just dont understand what his saying ..But i feel something within me ,,May God Bless you Olamide ...
Liking the song without understanding it is so awesome but the translation take it to a whole new level. He is basically confirming with God that he will be successful in life and be rich and his enemies will never know peace. I think everyone can relate to that...
nice video olamide.......God will continually be with you
