Grew up in an AC dealership in the 50's and on. Brings back good memories.
Seeing the AC skywalk over 68th St. always brings back good memories. Used to see the big orange tractors in the lot & the plume of steam from the building that housed the turbine pit. Watching two railroads working the plant in reciprocal switching duty. Milwaukee Road one month & Chicago & Northwestern the next. All that on my way to one of my favorite hobby shops, either Cazenovia or Garman. After the plant closed, it was quiet for a few years before some stores & a Burger King took up occupancy on the grounds. One of those stores was a big box setup called Builder's Square. That's where I bought the materials for my second train layout. The 1/2" plywood sheets were $5.98 at the time. I remember that, because one of the price stickers is still on a sheet that can be seen under the layout.
You have a great channel also, I just found it like a week ago

Thanks for sharing the video we live about 25 miles from Patterson's and Sons and i have my grandparents 1957 d14 with a three bottom snap coupler plow and eight foot disc that we still use today on our garden and to keep our place up
Great video!
My dad used to get the Landhandler magazine now all I have is a d14.
I bought a 7000 allis off of Woodie Pattersons auction in october of 1997, beleive it was the son of the guy that ran the dealership. They had the brand new 7060 on it but evidently bought it back, went for 32500 if I remember. Pretty bad commodity prices in 97
Love the video
Love it 🙂
Nice to see Patterson's in here. Recognized the store front from the thumbnail, and I have to say the place hasn't changed to much
