For those of you too numbskulled to recognize the meaning of this video, I'll lay it out: The purpose of this video is too show that while Minecraft has changed, the changes have brought more music and life to the game than ever before. This video is a simple counterargument for all of the brainless "Minecraft bad" claims I see.
Dude:3, I also love the current Minecraft, even sometimes without mods! I never understood people who make videos saying “Minecraft has gotten worse, the old versions were the real Minecraft” because...did they really play the old versions of Minecraft? For example, the Beta version? I recently played it for about 6 hours and dropped it, because compared to the current Minecraft, the beta feels like a prototype of Minecraft or its clone, nothing more (and I’m not even talking about the modern modding community, which developed quite well after years). And after all this, to say that “Minecraft is dying”? What universe are they even talking about? Maybe it was cool in the 2010s, I don’t know, but most videos on this topic seem like they’re justifying their feelings of nostalgia and pandering to the trend. Sorry, dude, it’s just frustrating, because I almost never see videos with a message like yours:3
Sometimes I think that FMs who say or agree with "mc is boring, there's nothing to do, updates are crap and mojang is lazy" only do it to gain views, cry online, or simply don't have the brain capacity to install some mods or change their speed run style of play, 105% achievements, all farms, etc.
People think new minecraft is bad because yeah, its lazy. Like remember the backlash when they added granite; at the time it was only seen as useless and so it sounds lazy, but at least it gets used in builds now. Problem still stands with mobs though like foxes, pandas, sniffers, etc... like what are they good for? Like really? Then theres the hatred for the company in general, just bad decisions one after the other, like how they scrapped fire flies because they kill frogs? As if you cant make pumpkin pie without wheat and you dont encounter human sized spiders on the regular. If anything scrap the frogs. You just cant imagine the developers as human beings with souls any more. Wouldn't be surprised if they're run by ai.
Ngl i think minecraft is meant to be appreciated slowly. Don't get me wrong, it's tons of fun to blast through the game but I think you may miss the beautiful ambiance that minecraft tries to give you.
