I’ve been eyeing this Dior powder for a while because of it’s 90% natural ingredients claim. I have sensitive skin too + acne prone skin. So far I’ve tried Maybelline compact powder, kbeauty Clio cushio foundation, Chanel les beiges foundation sample and latest went to Sephora they suggested me Tarte Amazonian clay powder foundation. They all irritate my skin, I wonder why or I haven’t found the right powder for me yet (I prefer powder since it’s easier to put on). Or could it be my moisturizer/sunblock? I’ve tried Tarte powder foundation without moisturizer, just sunblock, and also just sunblock without moisturizer. Both irritate my skin Before this, I don’t put make up on but now in college, I’d want my face to look energized in class 😅 I searched online but only liquid foundation suggestions pop up. Do you perhaps have any recommendations other than this Dior product? Love your helpful review in this video btw!

Definitely hoping to start filming again super soon Thank you for the detailed message that really helps me out, it seems like you like a powder foundation, I would love to know how you’re setting your powder foundation? What are you using. I would recommend the one size on till dawn, setting spray mixed with a Charlotte Tillberry flawless filter, setting spray. When I go in with a powder foundation, I always like to set it with steam, my recommendation would be to pick up a super cheap itty-bitty tiny facial steamer on Amazon for like 10 to 15 bucks Turn it on let the steam start coming out you’ve finished your foundation, and you set it with setting spray, add a little bit of the steam to your face for roughly 6 seconds not longer than that because you do not want to open pores you just want to set the Powder. This steam setting technique is something I use to get that superb glass skin look Everyone loves. But it’s also something I do a lot for photo editorials, Runway, and movies. It’s a professional tip, but I think you might find helpful. I do I have a favourite powder foundation. I can’t say I have a favourite I know that I can’t wait for that Scott Barnes powder foundation to drop that I’m super excited for!! Basically, I’ve tried all of the ones that you listed. I would be curious to know because you have more acne prone skin. Perhaps your moisturizer and sunblock are too heavy under the powder foundation. I would recommend maybe switching those up. I did some research and was suggested mineral based products since they have few ingredients. I got Sephora’s care mineral powder foundation and did wear test twice/2 days, 5hrs (didn’t irritate my skin) and 2hrs. I’m going to try again tomorrow to make sure it suits me *fingers crossed * . For setting the powder, I’ll check out your setting sprays recommendations 😄 and also will definitely check out Scott Barnes powder foundation!
Hi! Update: I got the Dior powder foundation and I have to say that it IS MY powder. Been using it since last week and it favours my skin! I don’t have to worry about finding another powder foundation🤩
@@sobean9309 I’d say it gives the vibe of “it’s my skin, but better”. It does cover redness and blemishes. It doesn’t fully hide acne scars though, hence the ‘my skin but better’.

100% you need to power with a very light dusting of powder under your under eye to set the concealer, just concealer alone will move and crease if not set with powder!!
