Market fell and people got out of puts. Thats what historic OI is telling us.
It is not telling us that people got out of puts and then market started falling down.
am I wrong?
In terms of PCR Ratio, You said High PCR means Bullish trend but don't you think it should be other way around. I think the difference lies in Buying or selling call options. But in general isn't it true to say "A PCR ratio below 1 suggests that traders are buying more Call options than Put options. It signals that most market participants are betting on a likely bullish trend going forward".

Option chain analysis is highly overated. Inspite of good decent view, market does the opposite next day. So difficult to take position on the basis of options chain alone.
But it works perfectly during weekly and monthly expiry ..

Option chain along with price action patterns works the best. Time your entries based on the charts and use oi for the market view.
What most people don’t understand is that the option chain is constantly changing and sellers switch sides in matter of minutes.
With reference to what you discussed between 4min and 5min, exactly opposite happened. Nifty ended above 12,000 and you had mentioned that market is looking bearish and won't even cross 11,700. This is not to ridicule you, but to also suggest that people trade with caution and full understanding instead of a superficial understanding of option chain.

What your missing is there is no way to know who are the sellers or buyers... you cant assume that those are all sellers of puts or call. they are just the total amount transacted... this method is a 50 50 which is a coin flip.. so you might as well save yourself the headache and flip a coin.

The option data changes with everyday price movement. So no one can actually predict market on OI solely.
You have not met traders who play solely based on Change OI data nothing else.

I only like the analyse, virtual and research feature of Sensibul. Ez options is like you give the direction and Sensibul suggests different type of spreads this shouldn't be hard to do for an experienced option trader.
Try to add change in IV in call and put in intraday in sensibull. and also max pain changeat least three max pain to track itraday chart. Overall it is good for option traders. just add those things to access all in at sensibull. It is a request

Your statements are contradicting.
At 13:29 you mentioned "Red Bar" as FII's brought these many Calls
At 13:35, you said "FII's have been more long calls than puts"
At 13:37 again you said "FIIs held more long puts than calls"
Correct statement should be -- As FII's are on negative side, they have gone more long on "Puts" then "Calls" and thus market was negative in October.

Hi, I wanted to know why only OI is considered to judge bullish and bearish nature of the market and not combined with %LTP change. Doesn't change in OI + change in LTP give a better understanding?

When will we able to buy options which are deep OTM i.e. which are 6 strikes beyond ATM? Currently we get the message Open OI restrictions? Really fed up now.
This problem is not of sensibull's. Problme is with your broker. I think you are using zerodha. contact zerodha.as I know, only zerodha is with such OI restriction among all brokers due to huge customer base.

1. market goes down = buy put/call sell, 2. market goes up = sell put/buy call, in the graph call high = resistance, put high = support right! am I right?? Please comment to me, this is my understanding? please comment to me. bc's i am learning this thing.
FII and DII data explanation is somewhat confusing... as if Put FII Data is more than Call, Means Market is bullish, whereas if Calls are more than Puts means FII are Bearish, vice versa... hope what I have meant is correct... as in your explanation you have considered call as put and put as call....

Sir.. call oi is always higher than put oi in nse, some times put & call oi amout is equal or higher put that time market is consolidate... market go high or down why put oi is lower compare to call oi...

Why do you say those OI bars means institutions have sold? Can this selling be not from non-institutional traders too? And If someone has sold others may have bought too? Why referring to just selling?
