As a general rule I dislike any videos without talking, but I didn't down vote this one... Still much prefer some talking. It's true most people who make these kinds of videos are annoying to listen to, but there are some who do a good job of not prattling on. One guy did some Odyssey videos when he was in high school he was the best I've ever seen, easy to understand all commentary was helpful and accurate. Think he ended up going to Harvard though so I'm guessing no new videos from him😂
@@ElisaHall-v5m I do my best not to dislike any videos. I will dislike videos if they don't know what they are talking about and if the video quality is very poor and shaking to the point of making you dizzy.
I noticed the description for this video said 2007-2010. Will it be the same for my 2005 since most repairs on the odyssey are 05-10. Thanks for the reply earlier and for your time and effort
@@MrRangerZr1 Hello Sir, I have sometimes a kicking/jerking when I shift to Drive and/or to Reverse, the other speeds are perfect. I replaced the motor mount (in the middle), is it possible that the transmission mounts can be the problem? Thanks in advance!!
In this video old transmission mounts don't look bad to me. Please tell me what was wrong with both mounts? My 2005 Oddysey is kicking/jerking under light acceleration and I just visually checked my transmission mounts and I didn't see anything wrong or unusual. Rubber is still there.
Hi, when I checked my car transmission mounts, I was shocked to see that the rear mount 2 bolts (short and long) are missing!!! Would you pls send me their exact specifications so I can order the right bolts. I searched everywhere but was not lucky. Its Honda pilot 2007 (but its exactly the same small mount of this odyssey in the video). Thanks in adance.
Yes, Im sure. Now Im stuck to know the specs of those two bolts, the long and short, so I can order them. I searched everywhere but couldn't find any info!!! Can you help?
I have same 2007 odyssey and I need to replace neutral safety switch and I can't figure out how to get there. I saw other video 2006 how to replace it. 2007 cover or what this is do not know how to open and get to the switch. thanks a lot
Are the mounts the same for a 2012 Elite Odyssey? Thinking of doing my engine mount too VCM kills those first thoughts On eliminating the VCM feature now that my van has 112k miles on it ? Or is it too late ?

Hello Sir, could you place share with us the reasons or symptoms you noticed to replace the transmission mounts? Thank you!
Visual inspect if it's torn or excessive movement of the powertrain during driving
@@MrRangerZr1 thanks!!

My van is 2008 honda odyssey LX. I click on front and rear mount part links. Amazon warns "part does not fit my vehicle." Should I order anyway?
If it's the transmission mounts you're referring to it'll fit. Amazon's fitment guide is never right.
How do you determine when to replace those I have odyssey 2008 EX
When they rip and start causing excessive movement and noise when the engine moves
Good video. Time to fix 😠 wrench come to papa

Open Diff check the main mounts; front, rear, and passenger. Those go bad first.

It is under the battery tray. You need to remove the battery and battery tray to get access to it.
Excelent video!!
interesting video...were you having issues with your original mounts.
The transmission mounts were good. All three motor mounts shot.
Would this work on a 2009 pilot?
Same transmission same process more or less

Never too late to disable VCM. Mounts are not the same. Different transmission and subframe.
But what is the point in replacing this?
If it's broken?
Where did you get your mounts? How much did they cost?
It's in the description.
