That lost lake is such a killer, even tho its not as big as it once was, such a killer piece because whos ever it was they used it till they couldnt anymore
I couldn’t agree more my friend. Thank you for the wonderful observation/perspective. To them it was a necessary tool for survival regardless of its condition. Bro, been waiting patiently for yalls next videos from this season. Hope yall been killin it and finding the good ones and im.sure yall have. Where that massive full grooved axe or that bannerstone thats lurking out there still waiting to get picked up ha 😅 yall gotta have found pieces of axes id imagine, or banners or pipes? That kind of stuff is defenitaly way harder to come across even than the killer early archaics are. Ill find 50+ early archaic points at minimum before finding an axe usually. The odds are something like that lol

Awesome point ! Went down the creek today got another 5 or 6 inches of snow, so the gravel bars were covered could only look in the running water, anyhow I didn't find anything again, hate when I come back with a fossil and no artifacts , damn it...

They are so? Umm, large and leaflike. They almost look too large to be stable enough to penatrate deeply between rib bones ?
There so exaggerated in form and also seem to be masterly made.
Is this just a stylistic form that caught on and was more representative of culture and status?

Thanks you brother and yes sir you nailed it. The lost lake is a variant of the hardin and the true hardins I find with the lost lakes are most certainly the projectiles of the two. I personally believe that the lost lake was just the knife to the hardin peoples/culture. The lost lake is again most certainly a knife and meant to butcher large game. Thats still a killer brother, the first big sandy I ever found was blunted nicely. It was the only good one I found that day. To me that was a better find than a whole point of less quality and age. Congrats brother great piece
I completely agree brother. Certain pieces to me also are worthy of a video. If I have a hunt where something that special is found I wanna share it. My cases are made by a man named Richard Reed out of Alabama. He still makes em for me but I don’t think he advertises anymore. Carty cases have great cases also. They made my cedar display coffee table. I know they still take orders. Cedar is my favorite but price can vary greatly depending on type of wood/inlays.
