Excellent intervention from Dr Abati regarding the context of Mrs Obaseki's comments. The fact that many of us cannot distinguish between facts and insults show the level of our moral bankruptcy in Nigeria. We love to blame our leaders for our problems but, in truth, our leaders are a reflection of us. Shame.

She deserve the crown. As a matter of fact, the odds were in her favour, that's why south Africa didn't want her to contest in the finals. As for her coming to Nigeria to contest, she was the most popular person in that contest and there were lots of sympathy votes for her from both South Africans, Nigerians and other African countries.
