Hunter, you have been through the high and lows of football as an EFL club owner. Keep going. It seems that America is now very heavily invested in football. It would be interesting if you are prepared to do a UA-cam presentation on how football has changed you as a person or alternatively where do you think football (soccer) is going in America. Dominic
Its been a rollercoaster over the last 2 years and like most i wanted you out at the end of season 1 but season 2 was much better and i was sitting behind you at Wembley and to see the raw emotion you was showing through that game you have gone up in my expectation
Really awesome to hear from you, would love more stuff like this from you. I was at that Donny away game and yeah, the mood amongst us fans was really bad. At that point we were a laughing stock for the rest of the league/English football. It was a low point for us, but obviously things are looking better now.
I recall one of the Wagmi guys saying pre-season (before 2nd season) this time we are doing it our way, we were doing it the other people’s way last time. I think most saw the signings and thought Crawley were going down. But his way worked, so can’t knock it. Not sure many clubs would risk copying it. But it would be great to hear what his way is and exactly what the strategy is. I think I’ve got an idea, but some details would be good to hear.
next steps are being worked on. biggest thing with the NFTs is to make sure there is sustainable and wanted utility. you can still use them to gain access to the discord and watch party and you were able to claim physical wearables during the first season.
The owners no longer even communicate with the admins of the discord, 100% rug pull. The fact that the discord is 100% run by volunteers and the owners don't even have any contact with them, should tell you everything you need to know
I believe you have made some mistakes along the way, but I also believe that we are going in a positive direction. If you are every in the bar, I would have no issue buying you a beer.
Good video thanks for sharing your thoughts 👍🏻disagree with your comments regarding player departures….wage balancing for a player like Liam Kelly??? And how does it all compare to the budget of a L1 team? So far it is clear we have a VERY small budget and we are gambling that this new squad will be able to recreate last season but at a higher standard… Prove us wrong bring in some marquee signings who have the right level of experience in L1 then we will be more relaxed COYR 🔴😈⚽️
Budget will be smaller, but you dont sign Max Anderson from Dundee and Armando Junior Quitirna from Fleetwood Town if there is little money. Both were on decent contracts, especially Quitirna who was on contract until end of 25/26 season. I think Crawley will be ok, especially with the gaffer’s style of football
Firstly I know little about these two guys so happy to give them time before serving judgement, however both have joined on what I anticipate is a low end L1 salary and have only been offered two year deals like all our signings. This means in two years we will probably go through a similar summer to this one which will impact Scotts ability to build on the squad progress and more start again! We need some marquee signings through the door to allow us to compete. But I reserve judgement until the end of the transfer window
Appreciate the comment. Yea we are going to have a smaller budget compared to everyone else in L1 and with that came hard decisions. I think we’ve made some great signings however this offseason.
@@HunterOrrell let’s hope so I am very happy with the recruitment of JoJo and Toby and looking forward to see what the others can do. Do however feel we have a glaring hole up front and the need for a L1 quality striker, personally I would look at bringing Max Watters back to the club (probably on loan) as he seems out of favour at Barnsley. Will also take the pressure off unproven Faal and Hepburn- Murphy to score the goals 👍🏻

Great to hear that insight and put recognition to the owners group. Seems like a very decent fella.
Dude you own Crawley Town? I started randomly following after playing career mode with them! Can’t wait to watch this season!

I'd like if you could elaborate on the NFT side of things.
Wow ok amazing.
What happened to the NFTs ? Rug pull ?
