Thanks for posting this. Great!
I watched this today at the BFI free-viewing room with much better sound quality. Anyone living in London or who can get to the South Bank easily can watch it there too. There are 2000 films available for viewing there free of charge and each person can use the facilities for two hours per day
Thank you, this is one of the 1,000 best films according to the aggregate list of TSPDT. I wish the sound was better in the copy, since is the point of it. Restaurateurs, the call of duty arises!
07:30 The Ash Grove . . . 🎵
11:20 Workers Playtime radio . . . Mother may I go out dancing? Yes, my darling daughter! 🎵
16:00 The Queen Mother listening to Myra Hess
I'm British & So Dam Pleased & Proud of it
When the Chips are really Down, There is nothing We Can't Do
If we had a 3rd World word, I hope Not, But Winston's Words,
Would Still be a Great Battle cry to the British people
Long Live the Queen / King & the British people
Soldier shown at 6:00 could possibly be M10963 Private David Woodard, a drummer in the Calgary Highlanders Pipe Band. Footage for that scene was shot July 10, 1941.
I thought this was interesting to watch. Now this has been listed in The Telegraph today as being in the top ten British films it might get more views and comments. 13240 views at the moment.

I watched this film in its entirety at the World War Museum in London, in 2017, where there is an exposition on the second floor. In 2018, it was no longer possible to watch this film, which was shown on a dark canvas in the corner of the hall. I liked the film very much. Thanks to the authors and those who posted it on the Internet.
