Couldn't help trying to process the original recording of Strangers In the Night with basically the same settings I've used for Lovin' You recently. The result seemed to me sufficient for uploading it for everyone to view.
Angelina Jordan sang Strangers In the Night at Proysen festival on 21.07.2017. Unfortunately, this song was recorded quite poor, so the video was removed by me soon after it was published.

Of all the concerts I've seen of her I think this is the one I would've most like to have been at. She is perfect in every song and the band is great.

I have to comment this, because, too me, this was the most magical moment in the concert. I love Strangers in the night. And Angelina sings it like her voice flows in from a deeper ground in the surroundings, the forest and the fields. I´ll never forget it.
A warm summer evening, this beautiful outdoor venue and Angelina's velvety voice ... life is perfect.

Wish I had been there, all the videos i've seen from this concert here have been great, she sings so great here, and that rich tone she has. I know she always sings great but to me there is something special about the way she was singing at this concert.
It's always wonderful to listen to her songs, and most of all, I do hope she will be happy all through her future life with singing, enjoy and love the love from you people around her.

Wow such a velvet voice -- Angelina brings something extra special to this old classic
I must say, the song itself it's a very demanding song and that specific tone was used is perhaps the same tone Frank sang it as well... Now the problem about it was this... The tone is very low for a female singer and that sweet girl couldn't show us all her capabilities just because of that. She lost her breath a couple of times because it was too low for her. Otherwise she did very well

They did not need the full panel of instruments for this song. No wonder the band was so loud.
I know this is an old upload but in case anyone's wondering, it's not because there were too many instruments. It's on the sound men and the system; and it's the whole reason for sound checks. Her vocals should've been higher in the mix and the instruments lower. And you're right they could've sat it out, but they were going for a Sinatra thing and had arrangements. Onstage it's a completely different mix and they probably had no idea how bad it sounded out front. Sinatra could have arrangements like those in a studio, but an outdoor concert would require a completely different mix of course.
On top of that whoever was doing the video wasn't getting his sound from the soundboard but he had bad quality as well. Thank goodness THIS is the enhanced version, don't want to know what it sounded like before!

I feel sorry for you Boris, you try to do something nice for Angelina’s fans by enhancing the audio and all you get are complaints from a bunch of morons! You can only do so much with the quality of the sound coming from the original source, no matter what that source was!
Actually, I'd do the anhancements now with the different tools and methods, obtaining better results. Maybe I'll try one day.
