- I thought this was a very cute and cool video of when KOS-MOS saves Shion when she gets into some trouble whilst heading for Miltia~! The E.S that KOS-MOS uses is pretty cool too ;)

So I got cutscene from Xenosaga recommended to be over 15 years later? Nice
Three weeks short of 18 years for me...
I like this scene. I keep a save point right before this just so I can watch it on the TV.

I agree. Although, I kind of have a hard time imagining their original voices with these character models. x_x I really can't imagine it well.

I can't tell you how wrong and irritating it is to hear these voices come out of Shion and KOS-MOS. I'm so accustomed to the 1st and 3rd Episodes. Plus I don't like the non-anime art direction the 2nd Episode took.
Shion's voice in II is soooooo emotionless. O.o

? Wdym yeah the voice direction is really bad in this game. But shion is definitely not emotionless. Like people literally despise her because she is so emotional and vulnerable. She's a flawed traumatized tragic person. But unlike Jr she didn't come to embrace her past and everything like he did. She learned the truth in a way she wasn't ready for.
Like yes you know who is absolutely playing her or at least 90% playing with her and 10% legit.
And I get the she was there cause they needed kosmos in xenosaga 2 that's pretty fair. But she's really not as much of a magufin like people complain.

yeah the artstyle and dubs in ep2 were fucking terrible.
the urtv arc totally saved the game (and subsequently the series).
It was fine the artstyle was questionable but still pretty cool in certain parts
Is it too much to ask for some English lip sync??
In a very niche game with a shit-ton of voiced cutscenes that probably doesn't have much of a budget ... ya, I think it is too much to ask for English lip sync.
Why did they switch the music from the cool shit like fighting kos-mos when kos-mos first activation in the first game to fcking Europop

I love Xenosaga, but damn this scene was horrible. None of this makes any sense.
Huh? How did it not make sense it is practically told why she is going to where she is going previously....why KOSMOS is asleep....and why KOSMOS reacts to Shion throughout the whole series. I come from 4 years in the future to tell you to pay attention even though Episode II was hacked shit the sequences made fucking sense. The development of other characters in this episode was fucking terrible though.
