I could be completely wrong, and you might not see this but my dad just had issues with his mercury motor not spitting water/ wanting to stay running, he just changed his impeller in the boat and his old one was rough. Apparently they need replace every year just to be safe.
Its probably very difficult to make these camping videos but they are the most entertaining

I always have a place to camp when I take out my pontoon . Comfy in the rain also . Back half has wrap around sides and benches are soft to sleep on . Mr Buddy keeps it toasty !

Broke out the big boy reels ...i got a okuma reel i love it pretty decent price range ....i think i got it at wally world
They stopped selling Okuma at my local Walmart. I really like their spinning reels, for the price they're good quality if you ask me.

You remind me of my younger days. I would go down to lake Martin in the spring and would do ling trips and camping for spawn I ng crappie. Back in the days we would have good trips and bad ones. Normally the bad ones would be dictated by timing and weather. I think the longest fishing/camping/voyage I ever did was 8 days in a row. That particular year I timed it perfectly and the fishing was unreal. 40-90 fish a day was the normal for that trip. Something special about finding and catching spawning crappie and then building a fire and camping. Don't know about you but about that 4th or 5th day.....a hot shower was welcomed. Love your trips and how you camp out. Brings back fond memories. My bones and RA won't allow me to do it anymore. One day half trips is about all I can stand.

Just got back from Vegas, catching up on videos. I’d go on a 3 day excursion. I’ll man the camp, you can do all the boat videos. I’d be happy as a lark with pole’s in the water on the bank somewhere.
1st remove the shift linkage pen. Then remove the lower unit by sliding it down after the bolts are out. Water pump is connected to the lower at bottom of the shaft 4 bolts that's it pretty much.
And you might as well do the prop seals while you have it apart.
I like watching the camping videos. You should do a food truck, fish looks so good! How come you don’t show cleaning the fish?
Finally got my boat at least done enough to put back on the water! Still have some kinks to work out but it'll work good enough! Can't wait to poke a hole in a fish lip!

It's not Flathead season yet, they almost go into a form of hibernation in the winter.
Its too cold for flathead still , give another month or so and he will be back on top of them fat shovelheads

Great video Spencer, fyi after I spent good money on my practically new boat and engine it was doing about what yours is sounding like ,I was picking it up and one mechanic came out and told me a can of seafoam would had taken care of my problem, of course the other guy couldn't shut him up fast enough, that was a great thing to know after mega bill I got.. anyway loading up to head to lake house for the rest of the week, hope I'm lucky to catch some nice ones..
You're definitely not alone there. I run seafoam through every other tank and I'm still having problems. It happens I guess.

It's not difficult to rebuild your own lower unit and water pump. I did mine in an hour in the garage. I had a bad water pump and seized bearings. There really is only very few parts inside. 😊probably about time to replace it again. (25hp mercury)
I've done it before. Just never on a jet. And never outside my driveway. It's fixed now.

How are the cats in the ovacado oil?? Never seen anyone use that type of oil. It is the first time I have ever seen ovacado oil ever. My wife says it is a new "in" thing everybody is doing. I may just be behind on the in things now days.
