After the publication of several teasers, the Japanese company has officially introduced the next-generation 2025 Toyota 4Runner. Externally, the SUV has changed more in an evolutionary way: you can find a lot of details in it that make it look like its predecessor. But technically and technologically, the Japanese model has changed radically: it has become more passable and economical.
The length of the SUV built on the TNGA-F platform is 4950 mm, the wheelbase reaches 2844 mm. The entry angle of new products is 32 degrees, the departure angle is 24 degrees. The size of the clearance is 233 mm. This indicator will be increased in TRD Pro and Trailhunter modifications. The car also received improved terrain recognition systems and cruise control for off-road driving at low speed. The transmission supports several preset modes.
A 2.4-liter turbo engine that develops no more than 278 hp is now hiding under the hood of the new product. and 429 N*m. Optionally, the SUV becomes a hybrid with the same engine at the base. In this case, the return increases to 326 hp, the thrust - to 629 N*m. Each version of the SUV is equipped with an 8-speed "automatic" and supports rear, connected and permanent four-wheel drive.
The Japanese model has also acquired a lot of quality equipment, including a 12.3- or 14-inch touchscreen, cameras with a 360-degree view, premium acoustics and more.
