Ingrid was a woman ahead of the time. People adored her but they forgot that she was just a human being.

Hi Age of Vintage, how are you? This is a fascinating insight into Ingrid Bergman, She was a very beautiful woman, & had a kind of luminescence that shone from inside. She didn't need to have 2 inch thick makeup on she was just genuinely stunning. Her daughter Isabella Rossellini was so much like her Mother it was uncanny. She played in some wonderful movies, that are still popular today. I guess just because you're an actress doesn't mean you aren't capable of falling in love with someone else. Hedda Hopper was a terribly mean & spiteful reviewer, she was always trying to drag someone down. Jealousy played a huge part in that, she wasn't an actress, so she didn't want to hand out any accolades to the very popular star's. It must have been very hard, as the men could be gallivanting around with 2 or 3 actresses, & it seemed to be just taken for granted, but when the ladies did it , they were touted as being crass, tawdry, & did seem to be classed as a slut, always double standards. Thankyou for this terrific glimpse into her life. LOVE LOVE from Australia 🇦🇺❤💖💜💛💚👚👗👜👠👡⚘⚘⚘⚘ 12.07.2020.

Hi Age of vintage, here's a new suggestion in your " scandalous " episode : Klaus Kinski . Look it up, he was a character for the best as for the worst....

Ingrid Bergman was a natural beauty. just like Grace Kelly. Isabella Rossellini looked just like her mother. And that "Hedda Hopper" was such a troublemaker... "Good riddance to bad rubbish!!" Sorry "Hedda" but you won't be missed, not even a "little bit". That's what you get when you talk bad things about actors or actresses................ Your vitriol was abhorrent.
