What most amateurs dont get is, you need soft balls, a newish wedge, and really good ball striking to create a lot of spin. Most amateurs dont ever meet 2 of these requirements, let alone 3
Good points. I've wondered if the little stone chips from striking off pitch and put mats, and poor condition fairways might actually help keep some wedge roughness and grip on my old wedges.
@Nick i could see it, but no matter how much spin you create (and i create a decent amount) i have never been able to spin back a ball that isnt at least semi premium. For example, anything under titleist tour soft I find it really hard to spin it back with a wedge.
@@mexicanongames5275 there was a strong headwind a couple of days ago when I was at the driving range. Then even the range balls ripped back. Made me feel like a tour pro. 😂So it's possible for non premium balls to spin back on non perfect greens.
Everyone here watching a 'spin control' video when really they should be watching 'hitting it straight' and 'how to find your ball in the bushes' videos
You boys would love my wedge game, I can hit it onto the front of any green and roll it straight off the back every time
Love the bantering! Golf is 90% bantering and 10% getting a ball in a hole.
wow, willetts 8 iron was sick. the masters champ flexing hard
I love these , all nice then the comp start and both want to win. Love it. All in good fun too
The video is awesome and the quality is exceptional

Add to that a tour standard closely mowed green with a "stimp" a minimum of 9, to get the ball to backup like this demonstration.
4. Decent greens

Dan is a great wedge player.
That's why he has won a major and wallace hasn't. 🎃
Great Ball Striking.
Very impressive guys 🙏👌

What course are they on?
All you need is one ball... after the first four. Great needle.
Will european tour respond to my comment 🙄😂
