High NP copies of this servant are gonna be very valuable. Also I like we finally got another ST SSR archer, but weather they are better then Sith or Sojuro is still to be determined.
Unless you whale for him, he is just worse than them because one is free NP5 Berserker in the same role and the other has way more application in general since she doesn't kill herself with the NP.
@@sibsart2039yea he has limited usage because his last skill forces a transformation into the other type of np. Also, i think both np’s are different card types which is also clunky to take advantage of
@ Arts AOE, Buster ST I believe. He’s usable but it’s just a bit awkward, and getting the max out of either of forms means sacrificing using the other.
@@AbuAvuTua2023 and moon cancer and ST and card rng manipulation. We have two ST arash this year & one of them for free NP5. Same case with card rng gimmick.
I think he's pretty good and one thing i really like about him being an SSR is if there's an annoying 90++ node or BE quest you can just take a beefed up support with your own low rarity DPS options. I know the whole dps support thing is not always reliable but unlike some other options he does have real stats to back up his damage unlike say a 3* like david or theseus for those with less developed accounts or people who lack a strong st archer of their own, the most recent archer period was saika for example and she is not in evocation.
I think his NP is kinda lackluster for a self sacrificing NP. Although he can DPS, unless you supply him additional guts, he can realistically only NP trice or less (if you trigger 1 guts through taking hits) before having to spend completely dead turns waiting for his S3, obviously since most buffs last 3 turns it's not necessarily that big of a deal, but it's very restricting without a great payoff to compensate. In Multi core I feel like he has good synergies but also a bunch of caveats, high cost when there are a bunch of good single target units that can do well in multi core but are 4 stars, his damage might be low unless you get NP levels or hit his anti-trait, his 80% battery is realistically only a 50% if you care about his entire gimmick being self-sacrifice to slot an additional support, and if you ignore the self sacrifice he's not necessarily much better than other options, especially if the cost is higher. I feel like he either should have had a higher base NP scaling, a stackable guts and some guts related gimmick to make his S3 more than just a "I don't feel like dying yet" button and to make it so he feels like any other DPS just with a big battery, or maybe someway to make the guts on S3 optional to make him REALLY flexible in Multicore despite the high cost, so that he doesn't need the high damage to justify his cost. Maybe I'm being too hard on him, but when I saw the announcement I was quite exited for his character since we don't get that many male characters, I liked the design and I really enjoy characters inspired by Egyptian history/mythology, and I just hoped he'd be better. I guess I was too spoiled by Gil, Junao, Oberon and Tez, who are some of my favs.
@@akirayuki6275 I think that's a little unfair of a comparison. Gil has gotten 3 buffs and has a near universal anti-trait, junao is still an insane dps with an almost always free damage mod and tez and oberon are god tier for multicore and support. I think Tut is really strong since demonic is pretty common against random enemies and if you want to get his append 3 for some reason it even covers around 10 servants including sabers and zerkers.
@Saito47 it's arguably unfair, I agree, but all 4 of them released in a state that was at the top of the game for the time and stayed top tier in their categories for a while, Gil's also the only one that "fell off" because the game got progressively harder and more complicated, so his buffs were all things to keep him "up to date". Junao is still a monster of a DPS but nowadays there's so many good DPSs that he's not as standoutish as he was, but even without any buff he still performs great. Oberon has been a top tier support since release and has only gotten better with time (although I wish they buffed his NP since even my NP4 copy doesn't hit that hard most of the time, people use him mostly for support anyway, sometimes to clear a wave of trash mobs maybe, but nothing more, so it wouldn't make him broken); while Tez is only really hindered by his class while still being great at what he does, he's the most recent of them tho, tbf, so it's not that surprising that he's still top tier. What I'm saying is that despite the ""creative"" kit Tuts has, he doesn't really feel like a top tier unit, despite the caveats he has. What I like about kits like the 4 I mentioned is that despite being top tier they obviously all have their own shortcomings: Junao has terrible survivability and being Buster he doesn't have particularly easy access to many other sources of survivability through his best support options (although Castoria and Reines can always help even without the right card type), Gil hasn't the greatest kit ever, even after all the buffs, and is generally surpassed by another servant that's in his category (Tesla), but against Servants weak to Enuma Elish he still performs so well, even outside of class advantage, Oberon is such a strong support but his kit is almost entirely filled with downsides (np drain, sleep/invulnerability and eternal sleep; also the awful NP damage for me who wants to use him as a DPS), and Tez is held back by his class with that awful 0.9 multiplier. All of these drawbacks in my opinion contrast well with each of their own strengths, it doesn't feel like they're heavily crippled because those demerits are proportionally opposed by their good points. With Tut I don't feel that way, obviously I don't think he sucks, I can see that he has advantages over other units, but these don't feel proportional to the cost, and tbf obviously self-sacrifice can be a positive in itself since party order manipulation is always very strong, but I almost feel like I could've achieved more or at least the same by bringing someone else instead, either a support, who's gonna be more valuable in every other type of content, or a DPS that might be 4 star, welfare or a 5 star that is strong even outside of specific Multicore comps and potentially good even for Multicore.
@@rezafahlevi9659 No, I'm just a little disappointed, especially since its the Tutankhamun. I have no control over who others pull, and it's not like he's not good or unusable. I wonder if Tut could have some decent synergy with Baobhan in CQ setups, since he can leave the field whenever supports need to be cycled in, he provides party battery, he's an archer, and he can boost her damage super easily with all of the curse stacks he'll be generating.

Not to mention Sono-G exist in the same role and he is a free 4* Berserker at NP5 so you can throw him into any 90++ node with 1 enemy wave unless they are Foreigner.
@owo4288 Honestly the only reason i can't say he is worse than Sojuro is because of that 80%(100 with Append) battery, but even the if you're using 2 oberons already his second skill will make up for it, honestly if they just gave Sojuro a 30% battery i could confidently say he is better
@@maracabo1176problem with that his skill 3 is attached with a guts, so if he uses all his battery he wont get sudoku. And if you require external 30% battery then Soujuro does the exact same thing
