Ohmigoshh!! He’s so perfectt! You’re really good as utilizing those shadows, you even thought up ways I never thought to try :) also I believe I spotted my all time favorite makeup palette in the back, is that the Makeup Revolution one that looks like a Macaw 😍?
Thanks! What methods did I use that you haven't thought of? Cause I know I've seen you do gradients and stuff. And yeah it's Revolution brand. It's good cause it was pretty cheap, but has just about every color I'd need.
@@CynicalScorpio everything that wasn’t just shading haha, mixing it with the paint, using paper clips to keep it in place because it won’t stick. I usually attach everything first and just try to be careful lol. Also I can’t believe you chose makeup revolution because that’s the exact brand I would have suggested! They have the best price point for the quality and amount of shades to choose from :D
@@PowerUpClay Oh yeah the paper clip thing, I gotcha. I've also seen people use wires, which I think are more flexible. And yeah, I just picked the brand that had the best colors and the best price. Although I had already seen a good bit of your videos, so it's possible that I noticed it in a video and remembered it subconsciously or something.
Thanks! For the whiskers I rolled out some really thin pieces of white clay, and glued them on after everything was baked. I just didn't bother including that part since it got kinda tedious, plus it was a super minor detail. And the glue is called Krazy Glue Craft.
I like how your setup and projects aren't intimidatingly perfect. I watch other clay UA-camrs and they have 0 dust in there clay, crazy tools, and perfect proportions at a microscopic scale. I try to make their stuff and I'm disappointed in myself.
That's actually really insightful. Because if everyone you watch is perfect, then perfection would be the only metric you have to compare yourself to. Which of course would lead to feelings of inadequacy. Kind of like beauty standards. Like if everyone in commercials looks like a supermodel, then it can lead to similar feelings.
Here's the playlist of all my Pikmin Clay Models:

This channel inspired me to do clay figurines myself, keep up all the awesome work
That's awesome, what kind of stuff did you make?
@@CynicalScorpio Just a few simple prehistoric animals I never see figures of. A lot of your tips have been very helpful
Withering blowhog reminds me of an off coloured pomegranate
Awesome work! Nice gradient effect. How'd you make his whiskers? Detail with tiny eyes is really something. What kind of glue did you use for them?

@@CynicalScorpio Thank you for explaining 😊
Thanks for the playlist
No problem

They sell polymer clay at pretty much any craft store like Micheals or hobby lobby
@@CynicalScorpio i hope i can find some
There aren't really alot of these kind of stores in my country sadly
@@Funniman_stealerofuhhhh
Then in that case, you might be better off just ordering them online
@@CynicalScorpio alr thx
Can you make a clay model of a hairy bulborb?
The hair part would be tricky, but I'm not opposed to it
I second that!
