Nobody is going to mess with that table - it looks like you could drive a truck over it and it would still be good. Ouch to the robot attack! Amazing you can get such nice timber that was 'scrap' previously used for stickers. Thanks for the video. Cheers, David
Also works with a hole saw if you accidentally used one that is too small and need to use a bigger hole saw - without a scrap piece it is impossible to center, with the right scrap piece it is... a piece of cake :D
I’m so happy a have a channel, where I can hit “like” button even before the watching the video!) This time it was an evil attempt of a robot to grab the power over human. I always knew there is something doubtful in them, Futurama taught us well!
May your new home bring delight and wondrous memories. Loved the video as always. Really enjoyed the interludes of timelapse paint drying. New perspective! Hoping that bit did not leave too much of a dent!
Una mesa divina de la muerte,el estilo industrial es genial,un poco bruto para mí gusto,si tienes que mover la mesa o le pones ruedas o usas un transpalet ,un saludo cordial y por supuesto un gran like desde Narón, Galicia ( España)
Apart from the excellent work (all the way from the design to manufacture including robot programming! - that's some 'knowledge set'!) there's planning for and making a great video at the same time. I'd love to know what model(s) of Kuka robot those are, what Kw spindles are being used, and what programming software you're using, Lignum.
This table arrived well packaged and on time. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!
Good thing you didn't nail your head into that bit! Welcome to the Head Bangers Club! Excellent work as always! Planning on making Videos on your home construction?
Cool table, but I’ve never heard of “INDUSTRIAL OAK AND STEEL COFFEE” ...Is that what you give your giant CNC’s in the morning??? PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET SOME!!!
Glad you survived the robot attack to finish this beautiful design. I see that robot (or other) attacks are the same in any country: Object: *is stationary* Human: bumps into object Human: gives mildly offended and accusatory look at said object
awesome work!! If you dont mind me asking. what software are you using to run the kuka robot? Ive got one standing here in my shop and wanting to put on spindle and use the robot. thanks
Hi, very nice project. May I ask you exactly what product did you use to finish the steel parts? They looks really nice. What's "polyurethane matte varnish"? A link would be great, thank you!
Yuri what did u use to coat the metal? And all the respect from me as a classical musician/furniture builder for finishing the vid with Hendel's Sarabande!
Thank you fwapcom:D Yes it's a glulam piece, we didn't glue this one though.. we ordered it from Austria. I't a project we are currently working on. It will be a part of a facade on wood technology center building and yes, I's a pain to move around..;)
It appears to me that you are new to the channel :D He uses them for larger projects and complex 3D shapes. And as he got them when BMW didn't want them any longer, the price was probably very reasonable. Although for a lot of things a regular 3 axis machine would have also done, but really: Why not?
it's a Kuka 6 axis arm I believe, I think he bought an old automobile production facility in a small country and converted into a woodworking shop, I could be wrong though!
Sweet baby nascar Jesus, this guy has serious heavy duty equipment.
:D
That's what I think every time i watch one of his videos. "I don't know if I'm more impressed by his projects or the kickass tools he has...."
Simplistic, but beautiful design.
Glad you like it! Thank you!
Have not seen a table like this one, well the mounting of the legs, very cool....and a second thumbs up for 😻
Thank you very much Robert! I knew the cat would be the star of the video :)
Nobody is going to mess with that table - it looks like you could drive a truck over it and it would still be good. Ouch to the robot attack! Amazing you can get such nice timber that was 'scrap' previously used for stickers. Thanks for the video. Cheers, David
Just a small detail: i never thought of positioning a forstner bit with a scrap piece. Thank you for the idea!
Simplest solutions are the best!

I so desperately want to work there! And that surface planer!!!! WOW!
Old, in between two wars machinery is the best! :)
Awesome. Best use of a garden tool I've ever seen- glue scraper! And the cat is awesome too.
XD Yeah it is! The craper too ;)
That massive jointer is terrifying.
Yes, quite so, but it makes you extra careful and focused when using it.
It helps to keep your wits about you when pushing across a 24" unguarded jointer. Later, chainsaw juggling.

I love your glue scraper...... ;-)
With a scraper like that i too could make such beautiful projects...

Professional job well done
I do envy the gear you have at your shop. I even had to check how expensive is Kuka robot, 55k€ it seems. Please post more cool stuff like this!

Wow, simply amazing work.
What an awesome table!
Thank you erdetm! :)

Still hurts a bit.. ;) Thank you so much Bernard for great wishes! I wish you all the best in the new 2021!
Awesome work! As usual
Appreciate that, thank you!
Love it.
Thank you Daniel!
nice design!
Very cool design
Glad you like it, Thank you!
Отлично. Простым людям, среднего достатка будет сделать проблематично... Очень красиво...

A lot of wood for a small table but very nice nevertheless. I really like the legs too. It gives me some good ideas of my own.
Glad you like it! Thank you!
Absolute class! Always!
Amazing as always! Love all your stuff!
Very very nice 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Very nice 👏👏
Thank you very much!
I am always so impressed with the creativity of your projects, how do you come up with all these designs?!
Good job and cool music for video 👍😂 oh, the cat is best
Outstanding work, but strong enough to be a shop workbench.

beautiful! happy new year, and can't wait to see the house build!
Happy new year Ellie! I'm really looking forward to the building process.. Cant wait to start!

Yeah, good thing I have a thick scull ;) Yes I plan to film each step and make a series of it.. I might even start talking ;) Glad you like the video!
Thats the biggest jointer I've ever seen
Cool table, but I’ve never heard of “INDUSTRIAL OAK AND STEEL COFFEE” ...Is that what you give your giant CNC’s in the morning??? PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET SOME!!!
:D Yes and the quite enjoy it ;) Glad you like the table Blake!
Feel free to send the robot to me for a little discipline. No charge. Love the table.
XD Thank you Muddy! I think the bump hurt him as much as me ;P
Wait! So, there’s not only one, but two freaking robots here?!
Glad you survived the robot attack to finish this beautiful design.
I see that robot (or other) attacks are the same in any country:
Object: *is stationary*
Human: bumps into object
Human: gives mildly offended and accusatory look at said object
XD I' really laughing at loud right now! Yup, That's exactly how I felt.. Why would you do that, why ?:D
2:36 LoL you have robot hand's but still use this tools😂
Awesome table.
Is MDF a good workbench top?
awesome work!!
If you dont mind me asking. what software are you using to run the kuka robot?
Ive got one standing here in my shop and wanting to put on spindle and use the robot. thanks
The robot got even for making him work so hard in your builds 😂
But they had a month long break while I was on a field project.. Maybe He was mad because I left them for so long.. :D
Hi, very nice project. May I ask you exactly what product did you use to finish the steel parts? They looks really nice. What's "polyurethane matte varnish"? A link would be great, thank you!
thats a scary ass jointer
The look on his face after the Kuka punched him. 😂😂😂😂😂
Shock of the year so far.. :D
There is nothing that cannot be improved by the introduction of a cat.
But none of that would be possible without hot glue! 😂😂
Both correct! :D
Beef stew?
The unguarded jointer?
Very impressive as usual! Do you happen to know what kind of surface planer that is? I love that it has the additional vertical spindles.
Wow, Coool !! ;- )
Topčina!
Шикарно!!!
Yuri what did u use to coat the metal?
And all the respect from me as a classical musician/furniture builder
for finishing the vid with Hendel's Sarabande!
Wow did you really just cut the top to size with a 2" router bit
On 2 spindled industrial robots!!
Closer to 3" :D
Veoma lepo odradjeno sa mnogo preciznosti. Hoće li biti gitare?
Hoce, dvije su trenutno u izradi.. Hvala Kasica! :D
👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤
🤩
First!!! Love your vids
No buddy, sorry to say.
:)Almost, but thank you !
This is lovely. Only thing I would change is me not having all those tools or a friend like you.
Also, is that a HUGE glue up on the right at 1:25?
I noticed that too. Damn I'd hate to move it and I have a commercial cabinet shop with a fork truck!
I am also wondering!
Thank you fwapcom:D Yes it's a glulam piece, we didn't glue this one though.. we ordered it from Austria. I't a project we are currently working on. It will be a part of a facade on wood technology center building and yes, I's a pain to move around..;)
4:30 ouch.!! 🤭😁😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
that surely hurts.
It was more of a shock than pain :D
@@lignumchannel hahaha 😂

Next: CMC (Catuter Meowical Catrol) cat house climby tree.
:D
Why use the robot arm to cut the table to size? Doesn't it seem a little wasteful?
It appears to me that you are new to the channel :D He uses them for larger projects and complex 3D shapes. And as he got them when BMW didn't want them any longer, the price was probably very reasonable. Although for a lot of things a regular 3 axis machine would have also done, but really: Why not?
:D You are right Karsten! If I have it, why not use it..
Bro you need to fix brightness issue while shooting video
Bro, I'm maybe 5 smacks in the face/head ahead of you. I would have had to bleep that part a few times. I bet there's still a lump ;)
:D yeah there is. I thought what the hell smacked me? XD
Dobar sto brate ,ako mozes da mi kaze dimenzije celicnog flaha i vrste drveta, hvala unapred🇷🇸☦️❤️🇭🇷✝️🇷🇸🤝🇭🇷
I need a Robot like you :D How much doas it cost? :D:D:D
Some pretty good ones go for as low as 5k euro..
What sort of CNC/router is that?
it's a Kuka 6 axis arm I believe, I think he bought an old automobile production facility in a small country and converted into a woodworking shop, I could be wrong though!
:D you are close Nate.. Yes, it is a 6 axis kuka but we bought them from bmw factory in Germany and moved them to the workshop here in Croatia..
Mucha máquina para reverenda mierda!
Hoće li i Kuka imati svoju sobu? :)
Možda neka mala kuka u spremištu ;)
วันนึงผมจะเข้ามาอยู่วงการนี้ไห้ได้

;o)
Step 1: get some wood to make the table.
...
...
...
Step 35: pet a cat for 5 to 10 min.
Yes, this is a critical step! It must be done with special care :D
