Matchbox restoration of Jaguar XK 120 No. 22. Toy model cast, year 1984.

The Jaguar XK120 model was produced since 1984. I decided to renew this model because the Lesney company previously produced a version with a roof in the 1960s. To emphasize this classic, I painted the window frames and headlights with a Molotow marker. I lightened the beige color to make the model look better. I made a glass form as a spare, because it is an element that likes to get lost. My copy of the box is a so-called universal box created in the 1980s to reduce production costs.
