The escalator scene was one of the most brilliant effects I have *ever* seen in a theatre. One of the reasons for this was the fact that it comes as a total surprise - one doesnt see it coming - all of a sudden it is there and before one can work out whre it came from it has gone. A really brilliant production and stage design!
As a parent of a 13 year old with severe asbergers I cried almost the entire show and best of all my son loved it...even with the sounds and lights...most amazing thing I have ever seen..
This play is one of the best I have ever seen in 45 years of regular theater-going, and the staging, set and acting are all superlative. I recommend it without reservation. It is astonishing!
I literally saw this less than an hour ago in bath and it was absolutely mesmerising. I was enchanted (especially by the dog) and the set and cast were phenomenal, highly recommended!!!
Quick recommendation for anyone with aspergers wanting to see it...bring ear plugs. When they try to show him getting overwhelmed, it becomes very overwhelming for the audience.

The part that really blew my mind was when the *entire* wall started moving upstage.
