    Large, flat cotton diapers folded and stuffed inside the pocket nappies work best. They are very absorbent, dry quickly and slimmer than prefolds or commercial liners. You get used to folding them after each wash. It's worth the effort as one flat folded equals two microfiber in absorbency.

    I feel loyal to these nappies even though they're the cheapest around because these are the ones I started my reusable nappies journey with. I hope my in-depth review is useful to you nonetheless!

    Thank you for your video. I bought a stash of newborn/premi little and blooms. I am hoping they will work for us i am not able to test them until August.

      That’s exciting. They should do if you play around with the inserts and see what you like best. It won’t be perfect at first so don’t give up too easily if it’s tricky in the beginning :)

    Hi, when you make up the nappy in this video you fill the pocket and then add something on top as a thin barrier between the nappy and baby-what is this please?

    • @AlinaGhost
      @AlinaGhost  6 місяців тому

      Do you mean the bamboo liner?

    • @LiamWillment-sk9ip

      Possibly, is this disposable to catch the majority of poo?

    • @AlinaGhost
      @AlinaGhost  6 місяців тому +1

      Yes it’s also 100% biodegradable but shouldn’t get flushed down toilet.

    Sorry I know this video is old - FTM, due in a few weeks and I really want to make cloth nappies work. What kind of night time nappy is that? Is it similar to the little lambs simple cloth nappy or is something completely else? Thanks, really helpful video btw!!

      Hi hun, I did a video that I highly recommend. All on night cloth nappies here - ua-cam.com/video/j982cocOLTU/v-deo.html and there’s a recent one I’ve been using which is also great here - ua-cam.com/video/j21b8odDgs8/v-deo.html . Let me know if you have more questions!

    Alina, can you please explain your method for night time nappying, baby boy 3 months, heavy wetter. Currently I'm using night time tots bots (very preloved) with a cover. Nothing else. And changing 2 to 3 times a night (could probably change more often!). I worry that he will feel wet and be uncomfortable. Any advice as someone who's been through it? Thanks

      Hi Rachael, I have been where you are now, know that it gets easier! Yes I have tried a number of different options. Here’s my video ua-cam.com/video/j982cocOLTU/v-deo.html my favourite has been the baby beehind www.thenappylady.co.uk/shaped-fitted-nappies/baby-beehinds-night-nappy.html (I am not affiliated with them) hope this helps x

    hi i also took the 2nd hand a few days ago. I washed them, but the smell did not disappear. I washed them again with a few drops of menthole oil and again did not remove the smell. how do you deal with this problem?

    • @AlinaGhost
      @AlinaGhost  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Kika, I first soaked them in vanish first (a scoop to about 500ml of water) this ranged between 1-2 days. I washed them at 60 degrees in the washing machine with Tesco’s ‘in wash fragrance boosters’. It still took me over a month or so to get rid of the smell completely. Hope this helps and let me know how you get on!

      Also after washing let them dry outside in the bright sun light. The sun and fresh air work great removing smells and stains. :)

      I documented it so I know that 2 days before he was 3 months he was 5.6kg. Hope this helps.

      I recommend second hand so check eBay and Facebook marketplace first. Otherwise I think amazon used to sell it too.
