Looks awesome!!! I won't do the brad binding, instead I'll do a hidden spine with fabric, but the idea with the flowers on the spine is so beautiful!!! I'll try my luck with pressed flowers because fuzzy cutting to that precision ...
Ah, that makes sense. We use a Critcut machine usually for these really detailed little cuts. I'm sure a fabric cover will look lovely with this kit!

I had purchased the Tim Holtz Deckle Edge Trimmer. I did not care for the way it looked once cut. I found a pair of deckle Edge scissors on Amazon that comes from the UK that I love, but it doesn't have a lot of depth to the deckle Edge.. it's perfect for what I wanted

This is it!! The kit I’ve been waiting for!! I’ve been procrastinating on starting some journals with my 5,6&7 yo daughters but this has completely inspired me. They are going to be so excited to document their flower faerie experiences 🥰
I think I will do some kind of ribbon binding so there are ribbons are hanging from the spine 🌸🌼🌺

Hi! That's from a recent freebie in our Facebook Group.
Quick question; do you print the hidden spines on regular copy paper or should you use thicker paper like card stock?
We usually use cardstock for ours. The stiffness gives the signatures support so that the spine doesn't tear. Hope this helps!

Are those regular size Brads, or the miniatures?

How did you print it? I put double sided but papers don't fit properly, some seem less wide then others😅
I am currently working on this Journal and deem to be missing a kit. There are pages with lavender and another with two single stems. Can you help?
thank you so much for this video and for sharing the binding method. Do you think it would work with pages that were printed on card stock? I am working on my very first JJ and made the mistake of printing all pages on 80lb cardstock and then once I added ephemra and pockets that are also cardstock they seemed to be pretty thick. So I am so unsure which binding method I should use?
Hello! I think it could still work ok. Maybe consider making thinner signatures (so fewer papers/pages per signature, maybe 3-4 papers (aka 6-8 pages) instead of 6 papers (12 pages). You might also want to consider using full sized brads. The one's I am using in the video are mini ones, but the regular gold kind you find at most office supplies stores are a bit longer and thicker and might hold better for thicker paper. Here is my full tutorial for brad binding where I show both types of brads so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about:

You could also use a tie-in method rather than sewing/brad binding if you are afraid, since the pages are so thick. But I feel fairly confident as long as your brads are long enough to go through your signature it would hold very solidly, even if the journal is on the fuller side. Hope this helps! 🤍

Hello, let me see if I can help! I think you are talking about the page with the pink flower in the corner, that I used on the front and back cover. If I am understanding correctly, those pages are printed at the regular default size, but I printed the same page out twice and cut out the portion I wanted for both covers (aka the cover pages are identical, I just flipped one upside down) does that make sense? If not, you may need to send a picture to us on Etsy messenger so we can get a better idea of what's going on. Hope this helped!🤍

I dont have some of those papers in my kit.....is that weird? Like the inside cover papers.....I have bought all of the kits for this theme and I cant find them. And you used portrait for your cover.....we dont have any portrait pages do we? Or am I losing my mind? Trying to follow along with your videos.....:(
