  • Most people are interested in the weather and what it will be like in the near future.
One aspect of particular interest is rainfall: this video covers basic ideas for sharing with K-6 students about how we measure rainfall.
This video was shot during a rain storm which was associated with Tropical Cyclone Marcia, which struck central Queensland, Australia in February 2015.
This video outlines some simple ideas for incorporating activities linking measurement and the weather.

Thanks Professor from Chile, we are having some weird rains this weekend and we are in the mid of the summer so it's uncommon.

What I would like to see is video-clips with 0.5 mm, 2 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm and 8 mm rain per hour - on asphalt.

Proof that just because you have the correct knowledge, doesn't mean you can convey it clearly to learners. I am sure he is very knowledgeable but his explanation was very poor for a teacher. Would have been overlooked if he was just a random guy off the street though.
