@@kellyxiaomedia spoilers for episode season 2 12 It was precisely because Umbrasyl didn't care about scanlan and didn't see he was a threat that enabled him to kill the dragon.
@@Pearlem LOL I love history. The Gasden Flag is the oldest US standard, first appearing early during the revolutionary war on Marine Corps drumheads (I'm a US Marine so there's that connection as well) The rattlesnake is indigenous to the US and it's rattle is not a threat, but a plea. Rattlesnakes are on the whole extremely passive snakes and only bite when threatened or stepped upon. The message "Do Not Tread On Me" is equally not a threat, but a plea. We will bite if we have to, but please just leave us alone. The rattle on the snakes tail on the Gasden Flag has thirteen sections, corresponding to thirteen colonies at the time of the revolution against Great Britain. The Rattlesnake was in the running for national animal, and the Gasden Flag was in the running for National Flag. Personally I like it better. As for the trump followers and some white supremacy groups co-opting the flag? Well that's why I'm explaining this today and why I have it as my profile picture. It's not theirs to take.
@@TresTrefusis You know what, sure maybe you’re not one of the really bad people who use that flag in order to disguise shittier ideology. Too bad libertarianism is not good either. I’m making fun of your politics either way
I am so happy they are building towards Scanlan's storyline. It is my favorite part of C1. I don't think it is coming until next season, but I am excited they are hinting at it!
Literally my two favorite guest PC’s and two of my favorite NPCs all introduced in one episode. This season is so good so far. Also seeing Ceni’s reaction and Kelly with that knowing smirk is the best and I’m living for it! 🤣
VIKTOR!!! "Learn from my mistakes!" You should go watch the Viktor clips, because they are hilarious! And Zahra...out of all the characters in C1, she is my favorite. Plus, Zahra (and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn) started a tradition.
@@MasterZeus94 ... then someone must have gone through with inventing time travel, because this is about 25 years *before* the M9 even started, and also before Artagan was released from the Feywild.
The whole scene with Ossisa and her revealing VM's greatest fears is my favourite scene of this whole season so far. I am definitely going to do something similar with the Madame Eva tarroka reading part of Curse of Strahd
@@DarksideGmss0513 If he wasn't added to Descent of Avernus, he might have but now Arkhan is a canonical D&D NPC. So now they'd probably have to pay WotC to use him even if Joe himself would be delighted to not only have Arkhan there at the end but play him again.
I love Victor, my favorite bit from him is his brutal honesty: "Who is it?" "It's Percival, do you remember me?" "NO" "Excellent"
No matter how many times I hear Osisa talk, the way she did Scanlan so dirty always hits different
The man didn't stand a chance it was brutal

Maybe they move it at the end of this season
They certainly are, tension is building slowly but surely

Given the timeline, it didn't have to be Caduceus, but could have been his dad, older brother, or any other member of the Clay family really...
Given that the pink-haired firbolg of the Wildmother was blessing two people in green cloaks, one of which we can see has blue skin... :P

It's an even *more* fun Easter Egg if we assume that's one of Caduceus' older siblings or parents!

Hmmm vex was likey eavesdropping on Percy and victor’s conversation I mean she opened the door immediately after Percy said ripely.
12:00 That is a Bards lament...
100% they are building to some of those things with Scanlan. I'm excited to see how (and when) they're going to bring it in.
tlovm recanonizing the tension between vex and zahra is such a huge win
My fav c1 guest has to be tova. She was a brief character, but played by the one and only ND stevenson! (Creator of shera)
They definitely are dropping all of the plot points, and the Scalan plots are gonna all hit at once and it'll be great.
they are cool, but like Arkan literally changed to lore of DnD he canonically has that artefact in Decent into Avernas
Yeah. God I hope he shows up in the series it's such an iconic and kinda outta nowhere moment that it needs to be added
