I love Spinnaker... own a Cahill 300 and a recent Dumas...
And my first reaction to this watch was pure lust.
However I think Spinnaker really borked an otherwise excellent design by failing to finish the bezel digits with a dial-matching colour background.
It looks like a set of generic applied 3D numerals all cut out of the same sheet on every model...
They either needed to be fully cut out and applied digits or be topped off with a precision cut overlay.
For the bigger price tag I really expected a better considered finish, so for me and my triggered OCD I just can't unsee it or overlook it...
And that's my money going elsewhere... It upsets me so much I won't even be revisiting at discount.
It's a jarring look.

Looks good on you! I love the beads of rice bracelet. 😁 I do feel it's too big though, plus the middle part of the dial feel a bit too big in relation to the whole dial.

I am so tired of finding absolutely beautiful watches, only to look at the dimensions and get disappointed. If they did a 40mm with 46-48mm L2L I would have bought it by now.

I have an 8 inch wrist so it should be fine for me. My complaint is you can't choose your extra band color. Debating between the Batman and Pepsi, but would like a black or blue band (they don't even have blue). Their site says you can't customize the order which is lame.

I have the original issue Bradner, I’m a compressor style watch guy it’s thick but with my 8” wrist it fits like my Helm.

If a 43-45mm flieger fits the wrist, this 42mm Spinnaker will fit as well.

I think its a real looker! I think the bracelet completes the look! I can see why it would be a tricky one to pull off for smaller wrists but for us larger guy it should be perfect! Awesome review as always bro! Have a great weekend!

Spinnaker certainly punches above their weight. I've been a fan of some of their more playful examples. I'm kicking myself for not grabbing one of their fifty phantoms. 👻👻👻👻👻
