Because he is getting kdb along with Haland , it's impossible to get darwin while keeping Watkins. It will somehow workout I think , that's how it has been every season with the moves he makes. Logically Liverpool assets are a bigger priority than Luton assets for the dgw25!
Harry, what do you think about a WC29. Sounds weird I know but hear me out. Something like this allows you to: 1) go all in on Bournemouth for the double. 2) Keep good players like Arsenal/Pool/City. 3) Really attack the GW's from now till 28 without having to worry about how many players you can field in 29. 4) React to any shock FA Cup results, e.g United Sheffield?. The question is, will we know about who doubles in 34/37 at the GW29 stage. It will probably still mean only fielding 8-9 players in 29 if you want to have a similar-ish team to the 30/31 wildcarders. Defo thinking of doing this strategy!

Yes you’d probably need to get him back later and you’d have one less player in 26, but it gets you another strong Liverpool asset to attack their next 3 fixtures.

I appreciate that the Eze and Gordon injuries mean you need to prioritise getting in a strong midfielder like KDB when others (like me) already have Richarlison etc. I just think you might be overvaluing Luton a bit too much, even for the extra fixtures - part of me suspects their decent run of form might not last much longer as teams start to respect them a bit more and be less tactically naïve. I could be wrong! But, I appreciate you need the money from somewhere to fund a good KDB pick and extra fixtures are still extra fixtures. I think I'm locked in on Solanke -> Darwin personally. This means not using transfers to bring in players for 29 that you don’t want long term (FUL, WHU, BRE etc) and having a wildcard available to pivot between DGWs 34 & 37 (as these are supposed to be different teams)

Harry, idk... I dont consider GW25 for Luton really a DGW I'm sure some single game week players are going to have more points than most of Luton defenders and attack. Also with Haaland just being back from injury I feel i need to see more of him before I commit to Triple Captaining him. There might definitely be more upside some later week. I think ppl have also forgotten the reason we didn't buy KdB as much at the start of the season, ofcourse he has haul potential but he is never as explosive as a Salah or Son up top. He usually ticks away nicely with assists getting 6/7pts most weeks I dont think that is worth a 10.8 when you can have Foden doing the same. The assists and goals among City midfielders is quite shared but Haaland is the center focus for Goals in the team.
I believe GW 24-27 Liverpool assets are still much better to go for than Luton. And for GW 25 its a risk but I feel Toney has more chances of gaining more points than a KdB.

You could have 3 or 4 more double gameweek players and saving any hits by doing so and weeks 26 and 29 are manageable as for week 26 you would be carrying 2 free transfers along to get rid of some Liverpool players

Not a fan of the Luton hype. I see the appeal of 1 of say Barkley or Doughty. But to have 2 or 3 is crazy to me. Nobody mentioning Brighton play Sheffield GW25... I'll have triple Brighton, Triple city and triple Liverpool, as well as double Arsenal for vs Burnley without use of wildcard. No chance Luton players outscore that.
From what it looks like you'll need to take at least two hits to have a full 11 for GW29. Is this the plan or are you fine with not fielding a full team?
