Saw a cracking bare knuckle at Stow fair in '93 . Young lad spinning a Toyota Land Cruiser around went too close to a caravan and was given a telling off . He went back and told his father . Over comes dad and out of the trailer comes the husband and off it goes . Very well matches and lasted 20 mins . The funny thing was a couple of Plod were walking down the dip just ambling along and the fight started a hundred yards in front of them , must have taken them 20 yards to realise the growing crowd meant a fight was taking place . They about turned like military men and pretended they hadn't seen it start . By then there would have been 200 - 300 men watching . I had one son on my left shoulder and the other on my right . Fair play shown by both men without fairplay men acting for them . When one went over the other backed off until he was up . Punches and mud ( Stow is famous for the mud ! ) and I think they both went over a couple of times . Cracking fight with s handshake at the end . Respect . Cracking day out and an earner on the way home .
