Hello! I wrote a short story and I wanted to share it here-the place where I got the insperation from. [Currently untitled] As she gracefully walked on stage, her head held high, it was pure silence- something any dancer would want from an audience while walking on stage. The music finally starts. She spins and twirls. Eyes filled with awe stare, following her every movement. Her body was like water, elegantly gliding about the stage with such ease. Young penniless children peer through a small glass window in vain to see the dancer herself. Everyone only has eyes for her. All is forgotten. The only thing that existed at that moment was them and her in a world where no one was aware of the other. Her eyes sparkled with her ill past lurking deep in the gleam of light. No one had ever seen someone quite like her. Then the music fades as the watchers are snapped back to reality. She bows as a shower of flowers and applause rain down. To her, this is what she had wanted and worked for. Hope you liked it :-) Plus if you want to you can write one as well- it is great fun! Well, enjoy your time at swan lake.
i did ballet when i was 5-7, it was so abusive i quit, i did kpop dance, my friends criticized me until i quit, i now do normal dance and ballet and I'm happy
when i listen i can feel the pain of being en pointe for a seven minute dance going nonstop but i can also feel what it’s like being inside stage seeing the audience fall in love with dance
