Going to the zoo and recording footage of animals for artistic purposes has been very rewarding for me, as it helps me a lot when drawing animal characters. When it comes to drawing animals, I usually work my way from head to tail. But working from the big shapes to the small and detailed features looks like a great approach as well. Thanks for the tip Aaron!
Love to hear the staple "just like so..." through the video. It gives confidence and makes want to never give up! Thank you for being a teacher for hundreds of artists!
Thanks Aaron. I learnt so much from your wolves course, it changed my animal drawings for good. Wonderful watching your line work on again. So majestic.
This is so fascinating and yet it's also really simple at the same time (like, it doesn't have to be hard, but it is a good challenge). I really enjoyed this video.
It's not just in the zoo or in the wild where animals are constantly moving! My dog and cat can stay immobile for hours - until the moment I start a drawing... Thank you very much, Aaron, for all your helpful videos. I've bought some courses and learnt a lot from them!
One of the best foundations that is even compatible with if you’re a brainiac 3D artist with an engineer’s mindset! Pretty much in that scenario this would be like the base expansion module card for drawing on the core 3D and engineering infrastructure in the system which also includes many other expansion slots and ports for additional relevant cards and node connections! :)
Definitely very helpful for beginners. I already have this step down for the most part, my problem now is simply stepping AWAY from it again to make more cartoon-like animals, yet not too weird looking. It's surprisingly hard to get away from realistic styles when that is all you tried to mimic in your art so far. And I am having a very hard time figuring out a way to cartoonize my characters. They always end up looking the same as the original sketch; too realistic in proportions. Or even just strange because they have a cartoon nose, eyes and mouth, but the rest looks like a tracing of a photo (like the sketches in this video, just more detail). 🥲 Maybe you could, or already made, a lesson about that sort of aspect of drawing?
Hello! I have a question. I already purchase the membership yearly. And around every October it will charge me the annual fee. If I purchase the lifetime membership, will it not charge me anymore for the annual? Or would I need to purchase the lifetime and then cancel the annual? Thank you!
@@AaronBlaiseArt So I just purchased the Lifetime Membership, but I did notice that I did get charged for the annual. Is there a way I could get that refunded? Thank you for your time!
Let`s say I am a writer but as everyone can tell - from the unborn child to an old man in his death bed - I have 0 talent to draw and I want to hire someone of your calliber to do say 20 min. 2D drawing cartoon. How much should I expect to pay?

Please never stop doing these types of videos. You inspired me to take a closer look at animals and get out of my comfort zone

Thank you Aaron; your kindness and instruction are invaluable; much appreciated!👍🏻😁
It's really hard to draw people and animals that are moving, but i definitely found that it trains my mind in a really valuable way
If there's anyone I will take advice from on this topic, its this guy!
Thank you Aaron! This is brilliant. You gave my mind the perfect idea to look at everything differently when drawing. Shapes, shapes, shapes. ❤❤❤
