    Tried to rank these from easiest to hardest but it's really different for everyone. Tumbling is really separate from tricking but it's fun to do from time to time. Harder tumbling combos coming soon!

    Do you think you’ll ever make another ‘rare tricks’ video? :D It’s neat seeing some of the less-used ones, like crowd awakener (iirc that was in the last vid) and switch kick.

      At first I was like, I don't have a rare tricks video. Oh, but did you mean the tutorial. So, a tutorial of some rare tricks or just a video with rare tricks?

    This video will come in handy once I get back on some airtracks. I would argue however that frontflip is way harder than front handspring and backflip.

      My students often learn frontflip faster than a proper roundoff and backflip but different for everyone ofc 😊

    What is matter in between whip and layout back

    • @johzuke1
      @johzuke1  2 роки тому +3

      Height and usage. Whip is used like a bhs. Layout is like a high backflip.

    Do you have any tips on keeping your legs together during backward flips? My legs always separates mid air.

    • @johzuke1
      @johzuke1  2 роки тому +3

      A lot of drilling. You just need to learn to control your body.

    Hey, amazing video. I wanted to ask you, how good is your vertical jump? Do you think it's crucial to have a good vertical for tricking?

    • @johzuke1
      @johzuke1  2 роки тому +4

      Never measured and I don't think it's the most important thing especially considering most tricking tricks.

    I would say backflip is scarier but easier than frontflip.

    • @johzuke1
      @johzuke1  2 роки тому +3

      Frontflip is way easier for almost all of my students and people I have seen starting flips from scratch. My gf landed frontflip on mat on her 1st day but still lmost half an year later can't do a backflip on floor or floor to mat, just to foam pit.

      @@johzuke1100%. I landed a webster within 1 day (given, it was very bad, but still), but I have spent literal weeks trying to learn to backflip.
