One of the teeth is bigger than the others?

which material you used in making gear?

    It's not a gear

The accuracy of a 1.8 degree stepper is 200 steps per turn. Impossible to get a perfect gear with no reduction. 😅

You did a great job here... this mill can be stored in our pocket... keep going!

WTF are you talking about? 200 steps is a full revolution! That's saying they have no accuracy at all. I saw what you googled and you literally read the highlighted section, completely misunderstood it and posted a 100% wrong comment 🤦 The accuracy is 0.18° per a 200 step revolution, non accumulative. It was in the highlighted section you got 200 steps from. Unfortunately, you don't seem to understand stepper motors at all.

@@NoMoreBsPlease let me clarify for future reads, no needs to be aggressive here. 1.8 degrees is not accuracy, is just the motor resolution, you will need 200 full steps to get a full-turn (not talking about microstepping here). To get that teeth module/number, you are loosing accuracy by truncating the motor resolution. So 2 ways here... using a motor reduction, or implementing a microstepping software (hardware vs software) . Is important to undestand the difference between Accuracy, Precision, and Resolution. The standard accuracy for this cheap motors would be near ±0.05 degrees (at no load),

@@hernancurras At last on UA-cam engineering, somebody who understands that the terms 'Accuracy' and 'Precision' do not mean the same thing. Maybe in everyday life but not in engineering.
It should be possible for the electronics to spin the blank enough times for the 'steps' to stop ready to cut every 12 degrees. If not, it needs another gear set in the system.
A good effort never the less.

Now I'm wondering if this could be modified to take an off the shelf gear cutter blade, and/or cut brass.

That is not a gear! That is not DIYS! It is a video of a piece of plastic with uneven groves being made.

As others commented, the gear you showed has one tooth that is bigger than the others! This is a useless non-gear, which is really not a gear!
