Grats on the run, was just looking at you on the LBs before :) I tried this build and found that Archon seems to punch a lot harder for me than fire. I'm at 2600 paragons only however. What differences do you find between archon and fire? Any tips for P2600 between the builds? I can clear 150 but usually only with 1 or 2 mins to spare.
The arcane archon setup works well too and it's also what I was using when I was around your para level. It's very strong and can 1 shot a lot of elites if they're grouped together. The downside is if they don't die when you go back into archon you have to lure or skip to the next elites. This non-archon setup is a bit easier to play since you don't need to worry about timing or cooldowns. I'd suggest building up this version because it's also similar to both of the meta builds in 4 player groups. Thanks!
Thank you. Altar's control immunity buff in season will negate the effect of Stone Gauntlets. Unfortunately you can't use them non-season without combining them with Ice Climbers or the CC immunity gem but you'd lose too much damage. On NS I'd probably use Magefist for the extra damage.
Yeah I see people using Magefists for speedruns. But yeah cool about the Altar node, been awhile since I read through them all hehe. I've been slowly putting together a LoD wiz setup the past week and yeah defo including Stone Gauntlets too now that I understand it. Cheers
I dont get it. I use tal rash and dmg 14-17mil(depends pylons and shit), toughness 2.8bil, rec is 90-110mil or if I kill elite, my rec is 660mil for 5s, hp 1.9mil and got all ancient, 4 primals yet, I'm struggling gr138. makes no sense to me, what i'm doing wrong? pls help me sir. I really want to beat gr150 for first time. I see all kinds of videos that people beating gr150 like nothing with almost any build, wtf xD
Paragon levels make a big difference. Tal Rasha is decent for 150s and is a great starting build to gear up easily. On low Paragon levels you would use Tal Rasha combined with Guardian's Aversion set bonus. After you hit 2500 Paragon, you would switch Guardian set to Aughild set. Eventually you will want to switch to using the no set bonus with Legacy of Dreams gem, which is currently the strongest Wizard build for solo & group play. If your Paragon is high and your gear is augmented, you should have no problems. If you need more Para, do speedruns with Demon Hunter for fast XP to get more DPS for your Wizard clears.
NA region for leaderboards but I created a game using SA server IP because it lags less for me. On NA I usually rubberband a lot when teleporting too fast or trying to stutter step attacks.

Nice run gz. How are you not being slowed down by Stone Gauntlets?
