I loved the 747 SUD version it looks so nice to my eyes. To bad they aren’t no longer flying.
I think the owner want to follow trending like the 747 300 and 400 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ᵐᵃʸᵇᵉ
These were the golden years of flying. The Boeing 747 being at any major airport around the world, a common feature.
The registration PH-BUF was the aircraft involved in the tenerife airport disaster

In 1977 one of KLM 747 200 was involved in the very deadly incident
I juet realized the 1991 photo has Garuda 🤣
I sometimes wonder why they didn't bother repainting the whole plane, but it's still a nice hybrid livery either way. :D
KLM in 1971😊

PANAM DC10
B747-100??
Retro_Avi8or yeah, the early 200 series used to have only 6 Windows (3 on each side) but now they have like 20 (10 on each side) and could also have an optional upper deck door.

The last few parts was a 747 300.
@@RetroAvi8or ohhh! I never knew they did that. Thanks for telling me :>
@@benzjiman6931 Np! KLM actually operated a trio of 747-300s, and they were so satisfied with their capacity that they converted most of the -200s with the -300's upper deck.
idk why KLM named their aircraft after a city
PH-BUA was actually named after the river. The first batch of aircraft were named after rivers, and the SUD aircraft were named after famous aviators.
PH-BUA was that the plane names the Rhine? If so, then that is one of the aircrafts involved in the worst air disaster ever. R.I.P to those souls lost in that crash.
@@ethanbai9639 No PH-BUA was named Mississippi. The Rhine was actually registered PH-BUF.
PANAM L1011
I already put it at #3 in this video ua-cam.com/video/GzbpLp5vDzk/v-deo.html
I love the PH-BUF
