As someone who's relatively new to Honkai, at 1:18:44 did people back then not get that Mamiko Noto was the kid who wanted to save K423? That was already a HUGE clue that Durandal is the real Kiana.
I play Genshin and don’t play Honkai at all but I got curious from all I’ve heard of it so I watched playthroughs of people for like some parts of the main story so I guess I kinda know what’s happening and this Kiana Himeko reunion got me crying so much for someone who doesn’t actually play the game or know that much about it ;-;
You know, the suit that Himeko used didn't have a Herrscher core, since Shamash has the core of fire from the previous era. Which means, Himeko genuinely manifested the powers of a Herrscher to enough of a degree to become one by the time she died.
I literally found out about honkai due to accidentally clicking it, thought about leaving but i decided to watch, and oh boy even though i don't know most of these characters i still almost cried, what the hell man.

I envy you if you haven't watched it yet. You're in for a hell of a ride. P.S. and don't be too worried about the spoilers. It doesn't even compare to experiencing all these scenes first-hand.
Damn even I know a little about the story and characters however I never dared to play this game because I know my heart would break, but now watching it in person has made me know why honkai players are so miserable lol I cried like shit💔 I love kiana she deserves the world😭 and himeko too💔
