Loved your videos. We are going to Costa Rica in a few months and I was looking for content from people of color. This video makes me excited about going.
Hey! My wife and I are flying to Costa Rica, and our first stop is La Fortuna. We loved both of your videos-they really helped us decide on what we wanted to see and do there. I have a question: how many days do you think we need to see La Fortuna Waterfall, Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, go ziplining, visit Arenal Volcano National Park, and possibly go to Tabacón Hot Springs?
Hiiiiii! Thank you so much for watching! Happy you enjoyed 🤗 I stayed in La Fortuna for 4 days! We did everything you want to do except the volcano. If I were you, I’d stay for atleast 5 days! Waterfall and Mistico hanging bridges can technically be done on the same day if you wake up early enough or waterfall and tabacon can be done on the same day. It’s always nice to have atleast one day with no obligations so if time permits, I’d do 4 days of activity and 1 day in between that to relax. Hope this helps! PURA VIDA!
Thank you so much!! I highly recommend Costa Rica. Amazing experience. We use the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and a Rode Condenser Microphone from Sweetwater for voice overs 🤗
Hi, Love your videos1 I do have a question about Costa Rica. I'm going in January. I'm worried about getting eaten alive from mosquitoes. Are shorts ok for during the day once it is daylight?
Hiiii! Thank you so much 🤗I went to Costa Rica end of April and was ok in La Fortuna. Beachy areas like Jaco and Manuel Antonio (VLOG coming soon 🤭🤫) tend to have a lot more present mosquitos. May - November are peak season for mosquitos in Costa Rica. You should be ok with shorts during the day time with some sort of mosquito repellent as extra caution. I recommend this all natural one amzn.to/3WcFhw7 (l'll make a small commission from this sale) - works great!!
Also, literally just came across this product on Amazon. I haven't used it before so i'm not quite sure if it works or not but the reviews are good. Worth a try! amzn.to/4bC09Sb (I'll make a small commission from this sale) - Hope it helps! And have so much fun in Costa Rica!
Hey is el salto a hard hike? I already booked a tour to take me there from Manuel Antonio. I’m moderately in shape lol I’ve hiked Petra in Jordan so it not like I’ve never done it but I am thinking about the walk there and back? Would you suggest I do it? Also the zip line you did what was the weight limit?
Hi love! El Salto isn’t much of a hike at all actually. You can drive there if you wish. It’s a hangout spot located under a bridge. The most “hiking” you’ll do is to get down and back up to the rope swing which is just a couple steps. You can definitely do it and I highly recommend it. So fun! I’m not exactly sure what the weight limit is (or if there even is one) for Ziplining but 2 adult women and 1 adult man fit all together on 1 zipline so I’d assume if there is a weight limit that it is quite high OMG you’re going to Manuel Antonio!! When’s your trip? I loved it there! Stay tuned for the VLOG dropping soon 🤗
Just got word from Arenal Mundo Aventura (zip line company) - The weight limit for the zipline is 240 pounds (108 kg) The measurements of the harness are Waist 46.5 inches (118 cm) & Leg 33 inches (83 cm) . Hope that helps!
Thank you so much 🤗🤗 I didn’t really experience any insects. I was actually quite surprised about it! Just don’t leave open food out in your room- little ant looking insects will be all up in it! If I were you, I’d exchange US dollars for Costa Rican Colones ahead of time. While most places do accept American dollars, I found having colones to be the best and simplest form of payment.
You have so much fun! LOVE IT! From the rope swing to the zip lines, hot springs and food... I'm so ready to hit up Costa Rica now.

Did you see any insects? You look so cool and refreshed all the time. I was told just bring US money?

It’s hard to trust influencers now because you never know who paid them to do what ☹️
Hiiii! I paid for everything I experienced. It was genuinely an amazing AMAZING trip. Highly recommend!!
