薑汁撞奶 in 10 minutes
I used your instruction with great success. The most time consuming step is to get the ginger juice. This is what I did:
I bought a few pounds of ginger and get all the juice (16 oz.) using a juicer machine.
I made frozen ginger juice ice cubes, 2 table spoon each.
I did my experiments and figure a way to make a 薑汁撞奶 using my microwave in about 10 minutes using Ginger Juice ice cube:
1) I defrost and warm up the ginger ice cube to ginger liquid. It takes 20 seconds.
2) I heat up my cup of milk in the microwave oven for 2 minutes. It will be exactly 72 degree C (very consistent).
3) I pour the hot 72 degree C milk to the cup with ginger liquid and that's it.
I was concerned that freezing may affect the Ginger juice, but it works and the quality is the same compared to the ones I did it the traditional way.
