It's not too late to experiment. The Packers could try a few different combinations on the O-Line. They have top offensive skill players across the board, making the offense their "Sunday Punch". If there is an O-Line injury, the O-Line will be their Achilles Heel in the playoffs, both in running the football and pass protection.
I totally get the thinking behind drafting Jordan Morgan in the 1st and far be it for me, a little shnook from NYC, to go against Gutey but, I can't lie, I fantasize about what our defensive backfield would look like -- an offense's nightmare -- if we had Cooper Dejean balling out on every down.
He would not be playing as well with how poor our DLINE is playing rn. No one is gonna be great in coverage when your dline takes 5 to 7 seconds to get to the QB on a good day
Hello from a fellow New Yorker, born in Brooklyn and currently reside on Long Island. I agree with you and made the point in a previous post that with Gutey's ability to find O-line talent in rounds 2 - 7 and with the state of the CB room, it might have made sense to draft a Cooper DeJean in Round 1 and look to fortify the O-line later on.
The only to do list is decide where to put that Lombardi Trophy - does it go in the middle of the other 4 because it’s the most recent? Or do they stay arranged chronologically?
Wonder if making former outside LB coach Jason Rebrovich the DL coach is part of the reason for poor pass rushing?
I agree I’ve never been a fan of Coach Rebrovich since they brought him in
Wahle had interesting things to say about a D line coach he faced when playing Jets and Titans. Yes coaching matters
Is D Campbell available? Haha 😂
Snarky Andy re Beckham...I like it!!!
GO PACK GO!!! Time to pack up some seagulls!!!
How awesome would it be for someone on this defensive line get to that All Pro level. To have a Watt/Garrett caliber player upfront would be amazing
