47's character is adequate but every other character is a bizarre farce. Laughably over the top villains, long and deeply nonsensical story and a general air of bizarreness all round (Sexy assassin nuns!). Story is NEVER ever EVER a key factor in Hitman. You want to show maybe 47 has some emotions? Maybe even a dry wit? Cool! Go right ahead! But the silly sci-fi undercurrent of the franchise (47 is a super soldier clone!) is always the worst aspect of the series. The better games like blood money or the new game tend to shove that part of the story more into the background rather than jam it into the player's face at every chance like Absolution did. But that's just the story! The GAMEPLAY is why Absolution is hated or at the very least barely tolerated. The actual assassinations themselves were fun enough (Court room! Professional wrestler!) but there's tragically few of them. Instead the player gets long, tedious and deeply repetitive stealth sections. I lost count of many times I would complete a stealth section perfectly only to have to wait for 47 to take as long as humanly possible to UNLOCK A DAMN DOOR! Way too many parts of this game rapidly devolve into frustrating and deeply dull shoot em up stuff. Absolution is a well made game, of that there is no question. But it is not a Hitman game! Thankfully the new game understands all this and for all that game's faults, it is at least a worthy follow up to the masterful Blood Money.
As a story game, I guess it ain't bad. But for big Hitman fans, we prefer a blood money or HITMAN 2016 style of gameplay where there is so much freedom in taking out your targets and in huge maps. Very fun. Bet yea, even I like absolution at least a little.
It's like, if absolution was, I don't know, a jason bourne game or some original secret assassin man game, it'd probably be pretty fun and entertaining. Hell, given the right original character, even if the silly grindhouse vibe could work well. But you can't just jam an established character like 47 into a game like absolution. Because if half the narrative and gameplay wants to be a pure hitman game and the other half wants to be some nonsensical stealth shoot em up about fighting a cowboy mad scientist, then the whole product feels out of wack. Still, Hitman 2016 is largely perfect, both for the immense gameplay detail and absurd freedom and for the simple, but effective narrative. At least absolution can be an interesting footnote in the legacy of Hitman, rather than the start of a horrible series trend.
Trent Strickland you we're practically invincible in this game it was just too much I still played this game an absurd amount of times I loved it but still even that said it was just too much at some points
Hitman Absolution had a certain atmosphere in it that left you immersed inside of the game that the games before it had, from Blood Money to Contracts to Silent Assassin. Hitman 2016 lacked that plot, that story element, that atmosphere. The characters or targets were just mannequins you could just throw around, they lacked any real motivation or personality. Which is why I consider Absolution largely better than Hitman 2016, because at least it kept the atmosphere of 47 alive. The entire atmosphere in Hitman 2016 is so bland and flat and the atmospheres although large never truly felt like they had life in them, and the targets that you had to assassinate were always pretty boring compared to the enemies of the earlier games. Dexter in Absolution was a good villain, he was unpredictable, he was more evil than Travis was, and he always took control no matter what opposition happened. Hitman games are defined by the story, there are always assassination targets, though underneath there is always a plot going on one way or another. Agent 47 is a clone, he is a science experiment. He's not just assassin who popped up out of nowhere. Which is why I think Hitman 2016 was so awful, it's because it tried to break down and destroy everything that Absolution brought up out of hatred for it.
I've played all the Hitman games including the reboots, and while I must admit the reboots are fun and Hitman 3 gave somewhat of a emotional story for 47 and Diana. I don't think any Hitman Game can beat this one for me. I really wanted a sequel for Absolution and still do.
The new trilogy isn’t a reboot. Absolution is still canon. You can see it in the cutscene after 47 becomes an official agent in the first game. In the montage of the target he’s killed, you can see some people for Absolution.
Eh. It was alright. I like how Agent 47 is more human instead of a emotionless killing machine. And the story starts off really well imo. But then it just falls apart. 47 gets clumsy, Victoria isn't developed enough for me to care, antagonists are just noisy Disney villains, just below average. I liked it overall, but it's definitely not the best Hitman by any stretch of the imagination.

You can find the cutscene here: ua-cam.com/video/lpGHvp_elGQ/v-deo.html
Actually, if you listen to the side vent when going through the vent (exiting the mission in your suit or some disguise other then the wrestler) Sanchez will communicate this information over the phone. It’s not a cutscene, so it was not included in this video.

Really like how the story deals with trust and honor - primarily to yourself first, then to others even when they are not "friends". At the end of the day all you have is your "word", so always honor it but do not give it lightly and choose your words carefully so as to not lie. I've always enjoyed the underlying themes to The Hitman game, very well done. And practical in real life. And some of the humor: "Land mine testing facility". lol. I guess there's such a thing. lol.
my brother played this game on a laptop when he was 15 and i was 9, im now 15 and playing the game. i thought this game would be the most famous and successful installment of the franchise seeing as how the graphics (for me atleast) still hold up to todays graphics and the plot is great. the game is more realistic than any of its predecessors. and lastly the fact that the franchise (canonically) ended here. i was astonished to find out the game aint that famous
The only time it really works is when Dexter is on screen, he fits the theme and tone the game was trying to go for PERFECTLY (the negotiating scene is hilarious with the way he bursts onto the scene). If the game featured him more and had better mechanics I think he would have been much more well liked.

9:08 If you turn down the speed to its limit and look closely, you can actual see Ort-Meyers initials carved into the instruments. Has anyone else seen that yet? I just noticed it while Re-watching the cutscene
1:47:46 The developers definitely saw the Elevator Scene from Spider-man 2 and wanted to have their version with 47. Game has questionable choices, both gameplay and storytelling, which is why I think 47 speaks up a lot more here. He’s fed up with these cartoonish villains and his usual goal of Silent Assassin is on the back burner. He is making all these psychos suffer and protect the only sane people around him. But civilians like the guy in the elevator? I think he genuinely still likes people by the end of the game, he usually has no contempt for his targets in all of the games, aside from this one cause it’s personal and all that. It’s just good he still has humanity left in him after all of this ordeal he has gone through.
One of the best hitman games I've played it's more faster then the originals tells you what to do unlike the original hitman games and finally has a map to view your objectives which is soooo much better then the original it's easier as well thank god I don't need to watch walkthrough guides anymore I can do it myself due to the map making it easier showing you what to do as well as staying on the screen rather then pressing the start button to view it
They gave 47 too much of a human personality. A bottle of alcohol at the beginning, a trashy apartment, and his voice is so..... bleh. 47’s voice in Hitman and Hitman 2 are golden. But overall pretty good

1:21:00 I always liked the this guy. Like he just seem like he's living his best life.
I swear cutscenes from games is so much better to watch compared to the crap movies that come out. Way better story line too!
NO YOU CUT OUT THE “SEXY SAINTS ELIMINATION” SCENE IT WAS SO COOL
I love how you fuck up literally every encounter :D
Man, John Wick really got its inspiration from this didnt it?
This was way better then most movies these days haha
Did that guy just frame a hitman...for a murder????
"Agent 47 leaves the ICA and becomes a father" the game
This game was depressing as hell to play.
God damn, all those shots of the hammer on the Silverballers being uncocked.
Am I the only that notices the Red dead 2 Wanted sound Effect is this 25:10
Can I just say ur intro music is insane
Had to make up for the game play somehow
John Wick has so much to learn from 47
not realy
my brother played this game on a laptop when he was 15 and i was 9, im now 15 and playing the game. i thought this game would be the most famous and successful installment of the franchise seeing as how the graphics (for me atleast) still hold up to todays graphics and the plot is great. the game is more realistic than any of its predecessors. and lastly the fact that the franchise (canonically) ended here. i was astonished to find out the game aint that famous
This games is so contrived narratively, I swear 😂 Love the channel though
1:53:00 Was Dexter going to throw her off the roof if you were detected at the wrong time?
ياسر
47: Name your price
Me: A handshake
Wild how the least morally objectionable character in the game (aside from the Nuns ) is a guy who kills people for a living.
As much as I love the emphasis on humanizing 47 and having a proper story, the grindhouse theme put me off.
The only time it really works is when Dexter is on screen, he fits the theme and tone the game was trying to go for PERFECTLY (the negotiating scene is hilarious with the way he bursts onto the scene). If the game featured him more and had better mechanics I think he would have been much more well liked.
Kimg of Chinatown is way easier than they mdae it here. Go down the alley to hos car, wait for the cop to go up the stairs, subdie him hit the car alarm and dispatch the king when he investigates. Wak out. The end
The chorus at 15:17 reminds me of freedom fighters for some reason
That marking thing that hitman doesbefore he shoots is kinda similar to splinter cells version
great job on the movie but man ur Hitman Skills are way off. looking forward to next Hitman game & hoping it wont take me a month to beat like the past Hitman games. 1st & 2nd Hitman games are still my fav
Good upload! Thanks! Subsciiiiiiiibed
The ave Marie reference !!! Legend !!!
why no sound when he gets his new suit
i know right this sean give 47 some personality traits and its muted
Same
ikr!
that is weird
Man, they tried to give agent 47 of ALL PEOPLE a protective conscience! In Hitman 2, it was more subtle, in this game, it's all in your face.
I loved this game. A lot of people said they didn’t like it, which I’ll never understand. It’s a great game! They did a good job on it.
This game was a masterpiece!
I love the part on the interrogation where they say “bleeding heart liberals”. Brilliant!
I love the Dexter character.
You shoot Sheriff Skurky in the head, but he has a gunshot wound to the hip. That’s funny.
Jeez I can't believe you killed Lenny. If I were you, I would have left him in the desert. I mean he gave you the answers of the questions that you were seeking for. Just sharing my opinion!. Keep up the good work and great content.
Carradine as Dexter. I love it!
joker voice: why so serious??
9:08 If you turn down the speed to its limit and look closely, you can actual see Ort-Meyers initials carved into the instruments. Has anyone else seen that yet? I just noticed it while Re-watching the cutscene
1:38:27 bro thinks he’s Walter White 💀
Perfect timing 1:40:21
1:51:17
Thanks a lot for this! Now I don't have to play the game 😀 Much appreciated.
Hitman Abosltion is my favorite game
Hitman Aboslution
Is my favorite game
Lol that Diana Burnwood in Hitman 2016 seems more mature than this one, but the 2016 version is just a prologue.
One of the best hitman games I've played it's more faster then the originals tells you what to do unlike the original hitman games and finally has a map to view your objectives which is soooo much better then the original it's easier as well thank god I don't need to watch walkthrough guides anymore I can do it myself due to the map making it easier showing you what to do as well as staying on the screen rather then pressing the start button to view it
37:05 I distinctly remember going guns blazing on this level, the atmosphere/soundtrack is unreal
(Action at 41:40)
I prefer this Hitman game plus Blood Money out of all of them.
tiki man was just trying to live his best life
29:20
1:09:12
Devs: let's make 47 eat an apple so he can look like more of an asshole
scenes i never watched cuz i was 13years old and was skipping everything
just like Shrek the third movie
fuck me, that sounddesign! (music&weapons) Why the hell they completely ditched this in the new titles?
They gave 47 too much of a human personality. A bottle of alcohol at the beginning, a trashy apartment, and his voice is so..... bleh. 47’s voice in Hitman and Hitman 2 are golden. But overall pretty good
2.44M subs and you can't even play this right on easy mode.
the agents are the Templars assassins XD
lol shut up XDDD it makes so much sense though.
I was gona make a comment about his gameplay till i saw the comments..
put on the top speed. it sounds hilarious.
