Damn Cody, 120 movies!?! Thanks for having so much dedication to your job! Also for being one of my favorite UA-camrs! I watch the majority of your videos.
The Iron Claw and Poor Things were two of my favorite movies of the year. Didn’t get to see American Fiction yet but I’m really excited for it whenever it comes to a theater near me.
last year my sister's appartment complex got flooded residence that lived there have lost everything and moved out of that place my heart goes out to those having a difficult time hang in there an may things get better .
He did a poll on his Twitter of four 2023 releases for people to vote on. He'd watch the top two most chosen movies to get to 120 2023 releases for his upcoming ranking of all of those movies. The Covenant and Ferrari were the two most chosen. Hunger Games was 3rd and Anamoty of a fall was 4th.
@@ArthurSanford3706 so he didn't watch it bc of z poll? But he watched worst movies of last year how could it be possible to reject Hunger Games🤔 i understand z personal preference thing but still...... 😔
It was a busy month when it released and I didn’t feel like carving out the time needed for a 3hr movie. I’m also not gonna pay $25 to “rent” it on VOD. I saw over 120 movies this year. I can’t watch them all.
My Ranking for December are 1-The Iron Claw 2-Wonka 3-Maestro 4-American Fiction 5-The Color Purple 6-Godzilla: Minus One 7-May December 8-Poor Things 9-The Boy and the Heron 10-Renissance: A Film By Beyonce 11-Anyone But You 12-Candy Cane Lane 13-Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget 14-Migration 15-The Boy in the Boat 16-Diary of a Wimpy Christmas: Cabin Fever 17-The Family Plan 18-Ferrari 19-Eileen 20-FinestKind 21-How the Gringo Stole Christmas 22-The Sacrifice Game 23-A Creature was Stirring 24-Dream Scenario 25-Silent Night 26-Rebel Moon-part 1 27-Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom
Rebel Moon literally had me laughing out loud. It reminded me of something I’d see on Mystery Science Theater 3000 with a high budget because of how goofy it was.
Great video as always! I haven't seen any of these movies yet, but I'm actually here to say that it took me to the tail end of the video to notice your shirt (I'm not really awake yet, lol). I also love True Romance! I recently introduced my teenage sons to it and they dug it too 😁
Good ranking cody. Me personally, loved CANDY CANE LANE.. every year I always look & try to add movies to my holiday list of movies.. I haven't added anything in a few years , violent night last yr... but this year I added candy cane lane & Genie ( Melissa Mccarthy) from peacock. I enjoyed them and now there part of my collection. Keep up the good work bud
So glad to hear you liked the iron claw! My family are huge wrestling fans and the Von Erich story is so sad and known in the entire wrestling community. Glad to hear the movie did the story justice

Cody, quick question, what are your thoughts about “Kraven the Hunter”? Is it too soon to ask? Anyway, when you were talking about the comic book movies I thought of this pending release. Take care.
Here's what I Think the Story for Venom 3 (2024) will be about: since returning to his universe after the events of Spiderman: No Way Home and after being in The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Universe, Eddie Brock and Venom discover that theyre wanted fugitives by The FBI, CIA, San Francisco Police Department, The U.S Government, Stephen Grahams Character The Detective becomes the Toxin Symbiote but he is goid but from Eddie & Venom's POV hes an antagonist vut they later team up once theyre back in the USA upon discovering that Knull... The Symbiote is coming to Earth with an Army of Unstable Symbiotes, Earth sees Venom as the only last hope in the post credit scene for Venom 3: Eddie and Venom are Approached by Vulture, Morbuis and potentially Kraven The Hunter about joining The Sinister Six
I haven’t seen Iron Claw yet but the way you described it, is it somewhat similar to warrior when to comes to the dad and brother relationships? And plus it’s also a sports movie
I liked the sacrifice I walked into it blind it was a good twist on a Christmas movie. Was that the guy who played Aladdin in the live action version l??

Saw Iron Claw yesterday and it was one of the most powerfully sad films I've seen. Bravo to the performances in this!
Same for me too I see it with my brother and the last 20 minutes emotional drained me
I farted

Same here!
Your thoughts on The Iron Claw are 100% my thoughts. Such an emotional journey but an amazing one
Poor Things was my favorite movie of the year. Surprisingly my friends all loved it too. Watched it 3 times already
Thank you, Cody, for showcasing “American Fiction.” I’m glad you enjoyed it and I must get on this and get my ass to the theater to see it.
Thanks for the List and Video 😀
You're 100% right with comedy, the PC movement is absolutely diluting and destroying it. Farts, piss, shit and sex jokes are just annoying now.
last year my sister's appartment complex got flooded residence that lived there have lost everything and moved out of that place my heart goes out to those having a difficult time hang in there an may things get better .
Cody am still wondering why u haven't reviewed the new Hunger Games prequel🤔

Wow. Someone who acknowledged wonka. Thank you
What would you say is the last good and funny comedy movie. Great list of films. Your list and reviews are amazing . Great video

I liked the sacrifice I walked into it blind it was a good twist on a Christmas movie. Was that the guy who played Aladdin in the live action version l??

Rebel Moon talk has been a bummer. I'm always up for a good fresh scifi fantasy thing. Guess I'll just keep waiting.
I had 80 new movies this year! You beat me
interesting you mentioned American fiction. Never heard of it. nor saw any reviews of it. But seems an interesting movie.
The iron claw is my favorite movie of the year
Didnt see Godzilla Minus One?
I saw a horror film in December call the cello and it was pretty decent
Cody, are you going to watch & review The Bricklayer (2024)?

Iron claw was the best movie of 2023
Another African American film released in December, The Color Purple a musical but a great film

Silent Night was hot garbage. It felt like a John Wick movie at the end with how everyone was shooting each other.
Love Zack Schneider Films but rebel moon is a Horrible Mess!!
Very fumbling year for movies but at least it saved the best for last am I right? #TheIronClaw
I beg you Cody pleseeeee watch TV series Dead Lands 2020 , it s a hidden gem at least watch trailer

That's what's up man!
Go watch Jamie Kennedy in person. He is dreadful live. He’s been recycling jokes for 20 yrs.
