Didn’t really favor lauren on Aries season because she was so stand offish but through these videos, i see her personality and LOVE HER. I see how they truly are a great match!!
Meredith Schrantz totally agree! I adore her now. I think they are such a great match. The producers sometimes give girls a weird edit and we don’t see their personality as much.
I always thought she was the one for Arie just the way he looked at her. I always felt she was really shy and afraid to open her heart up for fear of rejection, which ultimately happened. Arie you followed your heart and everything happens for a reason, Lauren is your person and you figured it out.
I always hoped Lauren would end up with Arie, because they have such great chemistry. Which is showcased even more through their awesome bachelor brunch episodes.
The fact that all three women were forced to room together during fantasy suites week, like a group of "sister wives," was just disgusting. Really cheap and crappy on producer's part. Are they now trying to be BRAVO or something?
Rainbo feminist like u should shhhhhh 😂I can’t stand women who write novels cuz they are triggered. WAHHHHHH. Like shut up grandma get off the internet.
Peter said in an interview that his front runner hasn’t changed since week 4...and I believe his front runner is/was Madison. I feel that if he REALLY cared THAT much about her that he would have been able to keep it in his pants knowing how important it was to her, but he did it anyways and just asked her to get over it. I’m salty with his ass.
Shelby Willhite thing is I don’t think he knew how important it was to her at all. Because she barely explained anything to him. From his standpoint it might have just seemed like she was uncomfortable with the idea. Not that this was a deal breaker for her.
Phantom Theorist absolutely agree. she really wasn’t clear on how important it was to her and if she was i think he would’ve taken her feelings into consideration more.
Shelby Willhite yeah, I kind of think Peter is full of it or he is just super dense. He just wanted to explore sex with the others. Everyone knew that was why he kept Victoria around. I personally don’t care how this season ends anymore.
But Madison never made it clear that she REALLY cared THAT much about him considering she didnt say anything about being in love with him, especially when the proposal is less than a week away. Also, it is not fair for Hannah Ann & Victoria that he couldn’t be intimidate with them because MADISON said so.
I feel like it's fair for Madi to have her boundaries. And it's fair the Peter wants to be physical in his relationships. No one is wrong, but the two views aren't compatible.
Qs for video: - Does the lead have 100% control of who gets the roses/who goes home. - Why is music not allowed in the house? - Do the producers tell the lead who goes on a 2 on 1 date or does the lead actually get to pick. - Was there anybody that Lauren didn’t get along w but we never got to see? - How did Arie feel about being the bachelor after having some years off from that world, was it completely different? Did anything change, like the rules from behind the scenes etc. - Do contestants always know where the lead is staying at? - What made the both of you sign up to be on the show. - Can the lead/contestants go out when they travel and explore on their own, if so, what do they do? -
Katy the music question is for many reasons. 1. The show would have to pay to license any background music 2. If they had music, people would see how a scene was edited. They couldn't frankenbite contestants to create the narrative. 3. The show wants no distractions for contestants. No books, no music, no movies, no devices. They want you focused on nothing but the lead. Some past contestants have said it can create a Stockholm Syndrome situation, where you think you're in love because there's nothing else to focus on. Super FASCINATING questions! I hope that helps 💖
mixueer wow! I knew they couldn’t have any of that but didn’t know why. That’s very interesting. I listen to the almost famous podcast and Ashley sometimes gives some insight from the contestants experience, I always wanted to know from the lead! Haven’t really seen any leads talk about any of it. Thank you for you response!
Because of your personal experiences, this seemed like a sensitive episode to cover. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us none the less. It is because of your open, genuine, and inside-scoop approach that I appreciate your recap videos the most!
I love you two! Lauren-I could see how difficult this recap was for you. As a Mom of two girls, I am politely asking Arie for you to give Lauren extra hugs today. She looks like she needs them.
I don't think Peter is ready for marriage at all. Like Arie said, he's attracted to the chase. And I don't feel bad about him not ending up with anyone.
I think he has no one at the beginning of "Final Rose" or A.T.F.R. interviews. (Whenever those interviews happen.) If Madison is smart, she holds out and ABC makes her the new "Virgin Bachelorette." It's so like ABC to pander to that. It's all such a business, now. Just look at their IG.
Question for secrets of the bachelor: do they make you keep the girl causing all the drama/ the villan? Because they always seem to keep that girl on for as long as possible even when the guy doesn’t seem that into her
For contractual purposes, no lead can actually answer this question in all honesty. Even if Arie's NDA is expiring, he has an initial contract he's bound by, so he can't fully disclose all of this. But the short answer is, yes. That's how reality TV works and drama is produced. The lead is fed information to keep said "villain" by their producer, and then has to comply. But if you look on the faces of MOST leads, you can see they never liked the person or wanted to keep them in the first place. It's pretty obvious. (e.g. Arie obviously wasn't attracted to Krystal, and she obviously drove him nuts, but he had to keep her. Simple as.)
From the information I have, producers like to say "no, we don't" but many contestants and past leads have given hints to suggest otherwise. They never outright say "yes, we're forced" but they certainly dance around the question quite a bit, that's for sure. And they are certainly fed maaaany reasons as to why they should keep said contestant, so that their opinion becomes better of them. It usually doesn't, but the producers try their best to make the lead believe the person isn't a villain, and so the lead should keep him/her.
These bachelor brunches have really endeared you guys to me. I have to admit, I wasn’t the biggest fan of you all as a couple after everything that happened. Loved Becca Kufrin and hated what happened to her. But she’s happy now and it’s awesome to see you guys be so real. You don’t shy away from the uncomfortable parts of your story and it’s SO refreshing. I think it’s great for viewers to see you and get the real reality check that these are all real people struggling to make their way through a really unnatural situation. Awesome recap! Can’t wait for the next one 😘.
Watching the whole Madi & Peter date broke my heart. I think she understands that she signed up for this show & should be ready for this & was really trying to not make it an ultimatum, but wanted to be clear on what wasn’t ok with her. I could not imagine sitting there and having to hear my boyfriend slept with someone else, especially after disclosing how I would feel. It would make me feel like I was not enough & clearly not his number one choice.
Megan Ells I agree with you. Although Madi knew what the show was about, I felt really bad for her when she was confronting Peter. But did anyone notice how Victoria was sly and kind of rubbed it in that Hanna and Peter were probably “getting ready for bed”, during a girl chat with Madison? Victoria actually smirked when she said it, too, like a slap in the face. I thought it was mean.
Megan Ells she knew this show was about. She's so stuck up & thinks she's a princess. Like Hanah B said "I've had sex & Jesus still loves me" Peter made it clear that he doesn't share her beliefs & had 2 other relationships to deal with also
Steph I get what you’re saying. I always felt like Luke was very condescending and wanted to control Hannah’s actions where Madi is just saying what she would just not be able to get over & she is willing to send herself home. Also you can see a lot of relationships in this series end for this reason. Nick Viall & Kaitlyn Bitrowe both talk about they’re relationships ending because the ones they chose couldn’t get over what happened on the show. We just don’t get to see this because it happens behind closed doors where as Madison chose to address it now as a way to not waste his time & just break up in the end anyways because she knows herself & what she can’t get over.
Amy Bradley yes & I also feel like the producers made it so much harder for these girls by making them stay together. That would make this whole fantasy week so much harder! I think it’s kind of cruel. The women should be split up at this point so they don’t have to be around the other women while figuring out if this is really going to work for them & deciding if they’re ready for marriage next week.
I just don't see the intimate relationship between Hannah Ann and Peter. I get major sibling vibes. She never has said anything substantive. It's like she just agrees adoringly with her big brother. Weird. :/
NoFear 64 I feel like when she answers questions that he asks her she totally repeats the question along with her answer like she is answering questions at a beauty pageant.
Totally agree. Hannah Ann is not in it for Peter. She’s just trying to “win” the season. She’s freakin young and really not ready for marriage. Her personality on the show is fake.
Jesenia Ocasio i mean she acts the same off the show as she does on the show. she’s young but who says young people can’t be ready for marriage or a serious relationship? why is madi also 23 who has also never been in love put on higher pedestal? y’all are too harsh on her and at this point, you’re just projecting.
I still remember Lauren's comment when Arie sent her home: "Why are you doing this?" It was an atypical comment for that moment. It's like she knew they were meant to be together, knew he knew it too, and knew he was making a decision that didn't make sense.
I wish Madison would have taken the time with Peter in the Fantasy Suite, even circumstances being what they were, just because of what you said - it is just time alone, just the 2 of you to get things figured out. Fantasy Suites aren't all about sex and I feel like they could have done a lot of good communicating together if they just had that TIME.
It doesn't HAVE to mean sex, but GOD KNOWS after the windmill...ahem. Also, Victoria F was SO "ninja mind fu*king" Madison. "Did you get the "clarity" you needed?" Ha ha. Maddie: "They're provably gkibg to dinner m, now." Victoria; "Or going to bed!" Maddie: (Practically shoots sweet tea out her nose!) Clears throat.
Leslie G Exactly! I was thinking that the entire time. Was her goal never to go to the fantasy suite because she didn’t want to give him the wrong impression or did she not go because she was upset with him? Honestly, they can’t be in love, when they haven’t had that much alone time, so I’m confused on why she didn’t just go, so they could get to know each other more. Maybe she was done with him at that point
I thought the same thing but then someone made a good point that she may not even want anything to be up for speculation (especially from her family/community) about whether she upheld her "standards."
@@thisiselodie ~ Very good point. I just want to mention that Maddison should also take into account the "unreal situation" they are in and normal rules just don't apply. Yes, in the real world you would never say yes to an engagement with someone if you knew they had slept with someone else recently, but this is different and she put Peter in a situation that was simply impossible to choose. What IF he hadn't slept with the other girls, and then Maddison STILL said no..then what? Now he would think what if he had given Hannah Anne or Victoria his WHOLE heart. He might have had a fiance instead of a broken heart!
Question for the new series: when you watched your season back, how accurate are the conversations once they’ve been chopped up and edited? Do the producers manipulate them so much to the point where they are vastly different from the original actual conversation or are they pretty close? I always listen to the convos with skepticism because I know it’s so easy to manipulate what people say through editing.
Unfortunately, despite their NDA expiring, the initial contract they sign prohibits them from disclosing - in extreme detail - the heavy editing of the show. But you can bet your butt the answer is yes. Show is edited to the stars. I'm sure Lauren and Arie will share a bit without going into too much detail, but remember that they have HOURS and hours of footage of these women, alongside ITMs, and they can do whatever they want with it. There isn't ten million hours of footage, a storyline editor, sound editor, and about 20 producers on this show for no reason. That's all I'll say. As a contestant or lead, you agree to the storyline and editing team taking the footage and doing what they want with it, bc that's what you signed up for. Anyone in scripted reality TV knows this. It's the rules: you get screenttime and footage, but in return they can portray you however they want, and you can't say anything about it. Its' the name of the game baby.
Lauren is so pretty, I seriously just looked at her face the whole time. Her side profile, just everything about her face, her smile, and features. She really is a beautiful girl, and Arie is a lucky man. I couldn't keep my eyes off her on the show either. I am glad you ended up together, because Lauren was always my favorite, and I wasn't surprised at all that in the end it was really Lauren. I always thought Lauren seemed genuine and sweet to.
I think it's actually so amazing how lovely you two are. I think it says a lot about the maturity, authenticity, honesty, and beauty of both of your characters that you can move forward with so much security, love, and happiness with one another after such a crazy experience in front of so many people. You two radiate each other in such a powerful way. Lauren - appreciates Arie's mind and Arie - appreciates Lauren's voice. It's such a harmonic thing to see. May you two have so much onward happiness in the future and here's to an example in you guys that I think a lot of individuals moving on from a whirlwind crazy experience on "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette" can only hope to emulate :)
This season has been so disappointing, not one but TWO episodes this season have ended without a rose ceremony. Too much focus on drama, and not enough on romance. Having the women stay together was a cheap ploy at getting more drama and was super unfair to the women there. At the end of the day, these are real people with real feelings!
QUESTION FOR THE SECRETS OF THE BACHELOR: When it comes to the rose ceremonies, is there a specific order you go in with the names of the women? Or do you figure it out as you go? How does that work?
The producers give the lead the order they need to give out the roses in. (aka they direct the order of the names, to answer your question.) This is to be able to control camera shots at the right times. An average rose ceremony actually takes an hour of shooting bc they have to get so many different shots and angles, with so many different women. Including ITM and exits - it's about 3 hours of filming, so it's pretty exhaustive on the crew and the contestants, especially in earlier episodes. (Many past leads have said it's the dreaded part of the show, not just bc of breaking hearts, but bc of how long it takes to film.) Of course, as show progresses and there are fewer women, the ceremony is shorter to film -- but apparently still really long, bc the lead has to pause so substantially between each rose in order for the crew to get the right footage and shots of the contestants. In case your follow up Q is, how does the lead remember all names on first episodes during rose ceremony? Simple. He's given those names by producers to remember during takes. So he can remember the order, but also their names. Kind of like a "cheat sheet", basically. Hope that answers your question! But no, lead is never in control of order of the names. Producers are.
He's in love with Madison. You could see the regret he had when he said sorry to Madison. I feel bad for Hannah and Victoria because they'll probably feel used. Who wants to hear that the guy they love feels sorry for sleeping with them? Madison is definitely my favorite. Victoria is something else. Hannah seems a bit naive and still has a lot of life to live before she settles down. His mom is definitely telling Peter to go and get Madison. I'm not gonna lie though, I did shed a tear with Madi and Peter. She's just so real! It's refreshing.
Mama Squared Yes- and I believe the editing hasn’t shown us the truth of how deep their relationship really is. I feel he was really regretting his fantasy suites because he was asking her not to leave and talking about forever. I know they talk about the future but this seemed more...authentic and urgent. Almost like he was realizing what he was about to lose. Colton and Nick Viall did not sleep with more than their chosen person. It’s a fallacy that you have to test drive all the people to make your decision. When you know the one- you know. Peter just used this opportunity to get a ‘free’ chance to sleep around without judgement. But real life got in the way...We’ll see what happens. I do hope everything works out in the end and he is happy and in love!!!!!!!!
Spoilers indicate that both Madison and Hannah met Peter's parents-what's ALSO weird, the Sun (tabloids) released pictures with Peter & Madi on second date before MTP (He is wearing Blue button up, same one with Peter's mom crying). Timing of this is uncertain however but highly suspicious
My heart was breaking watching Madison talk with Peter. Madison is my favorite, but not for Peter. I think Hannah Ann and Peter make more sense together. Madi needs a Sean Lowe 2.0. I'm curious what you both thought of Madison's comment that she would not accept a proposal from someone who slept with someone else six days prior.
Carolyn Massey that comment really stood out to me too! It kind of snapped everything back into reality that any woman should have the right to be uneasy about that kind of situation and it makes sense that she would want to walk away
i agree peter’s a great guy but he’s not the guy for her. what she wants and expects from a relationship is not him and that’s okay but i can see how much they do love and care for each other and why it’s so hard to walk away.
Lauren's personality is the best. She seems so freaking sweet. I wish we saw more of that during the season! You guys seem so happy and have the cutest baby and fam, and I love it!
I feel like you only picked Becca cause her ex came to try to win her back, (men love a competition) it was so obvious on your season that you wanted Lauren , you told her you loved her after u dumped her 😜! Glad it all worked out for you guys !
Yes! I felt he was going to pick Lauren from the beginning! That chemistry was there from the start! I’m so glad they ended up together, married, and have the cutest baby girl!!
Hannah Ann was awesome in this episode. I'd love to see her in BIP. Peter's is the first season I'm watching live. I'm watching old seasons (just made it to your season actually!) So most of my questions are just weird ones I guess?? - I know they don't like people eating on camera but do you get to eat the food at some point? Otherwise it seems like a waste of food. - Do you know what they would do if a contestant or lead physically can't do a date? Like if they had a knee surgery or a food allergy. - Can a lead ask for a day off? - How do you know who to give roses to? How can you remember all those names? Is there a list? Or pictures with names under them so the lead can learn their names? This really mystified me lol.
The food question you have, they eat with their producers earlier (b4 the dinner part of the date). The food is made but just for decoration. It's usually cold.
I understand where Madi is coming from, she is on a “reality TV show,” but she is thinking logically in a real world setting. She hit the nail on the head when she said, “I don’t see me saying yes to an engagement when 6 days prior you were with other women.” I love watching the Bachelor, but for the sake of shaking things up and caring about the outcome of the relationships formed on the show I wish ABC producers would get rid of the Fantasy Suits all together. I think the show would still have more than enough entertainment without it.
I agree. I know this sleeping around drama is what started things badly between Emily and Brad Womack. Emily on after the final rose said to Brad “well if you knew you were going to pick me then why didn’t you save “certain” things just for me?”
The fantasy suite isn’t just for intimacy. It’s a time to hang out and get to know each other without the cameras. Not everyone does it in the Fantasy Suite
Neera Sinha-Frazer but most of them abused it taking it as a sign to sleep around before proposing. They don’t have to but they chose to. You don’t need to have sex with all of them to know what’s in your heart. But peter I feel like he took advantage of it
I agree. The Australian Bachelorette show didn't have the fantasy suites and it was good TV. Why not just give them a day to spend together without cameras and what they do is up to them.
Aww.... Lauren is the cutest and sweetest!! I can't imagine how awkward and uncomfortable it must be to watch it with your husband and get flashbacks...😫💕💕💕💕
Do the "contestants" know who the lead is going to be when they agree to go on the show? Does the lead have 100% say in who goes home each week/what the dates are and who the dates are with?
@@sakura360ify have you been a producer or contestant on the show? I've seen your comments on some other vids and am curious how you seem to know so much. This is a good question for the upcoming Bach secrets from Lauren and Arie.
CL G no, i’m not. production is something that is interesting to me, so i learned a few tips and tricks from friends. i’ve been watching the show for awhile, so i cross reference the seasons, so i’m able to give a clear opinion without passing too much judgement. in this season’s intro packages, all the girls talked about peter (making me think it’s not just wishful thinking that he’ll be the lead). same with colton’s girls. they don’t know who the bachelor is when they sign up and go through casting and get picked. and about bowing out.. there was a girl who was supposed to be on peter’s season, but she bowed out before night one started.
To Lauren and Arie. Thanks for keeping it real. Not only do you both share your honest thoughts, even when you don’t agree. But also, it’s fun to watch the two of you - how real you are and how much you care for and respect each other.
Are the “contestants” able to leave the mansion/hotels to get their nails/womanly wax appointments done? The girls always have a fresh manicure on, and I imagine you always have to be bikini ready.
Yes they are! There was recently a post on a popular gossip site (don't remember where) about Hannah Ann coming out of a nail salon in Australia after getting a pedicure the day after her FS suite date. I always wondered how they do that and apparently they're allowed to leave the hotel on that rare occasion!!
@@leahkrawczyk5912 Yes they can do this on occasion of course, but they also do a lot of it themselves in their rooms since they have so much time to kill! So its kind of like both, to be honest. A lot of times they're doing their own waxing/shaving/hair dyeing/makeup bc they have nothing else to do, to be honest. They're not allowed tv or books or phone, so it would make sense that they have nothing else to do but beautify themselves and try to look perfect all the time. What else are they supposed to do? Their one job is to look camera ready at all times, especially for a date.
I’ve always liked Lauren from the beginning. Towards the end, I thought Arie had more connection with her. He was just torn between two great women and since Lauren was more reserved and shy as opposed to Becca being more outspoken and outgoing, I felt he chose Becca with his head and not his heart. Lauren had his heart and that’s why he eventually followed his heart. Sucks how it all went down for Becca but, at the end you have to follow your heart.
Question! Do the producers have a say on one pick they "insist" (force) the Bachelor/Bachelorette to keep, up until hometowns, for "drama" purposes? It seems like they always keep the worst people ( "villains") way past the expiration date.
100%- right Arie & Lauren? Probably more than one haha. No one in their right mind would actually want to keep the Luke P around for real after a certain point lol. It’s got to be for ratings
@@J-B-P Actually, in this case, Hannah B was the one who wanted to keep Luke P for so long. Her producers didn't mind her letting him go, hence why car was waiting for him at the end of their dinner 1-on-1. It was Hannah personally who wanted to keep him, and kept seeing something, hence why you see her apologise so much for making "such a big mistake" in post-show interviews. Hannah and Peter's seasons are two known for having very little producing done on the two leads, bc both are very naive and immature and still figuring out life. So they were making their own mistakes and bad decisions without much producer input. It is other past seasons - and many of them - where villains were kept for entertainment even though lead doesn't want them to stay. The way this is done is through coddling, basically. The producers just constantly try to upsell the contestant to you, to make you believe they're "not that bad" and "just keep them one more week and then you can eliminate them" etc. At the end of the day, so much of the drama on the show is produced, that the lead understands that this is not necessarily the villain's true personality, but one being played up by their own producer for TV. So everyone involved kinda understands the name of the game, and how much producers have to do with everything, and so they keep the villain past expiration date, bc they kinda have to. Their producer "asks" them to keep the villain, but not in so many words, and they do it, bc they figure "Well, as long as I get to eventually eliminate them, then fine..." And that's how it's done.
I don't judge Madison for having standards but I agree with everything you guys said. He's dating other women and he has a right to explore that in whatever way he can. Madison literally waited to the last minute to state her entire reasoning but still expected him to listen to her without explaining fully. Also, why would she come on a show like this to find her husband? Cuz let's be honest.. A woman faith.. Openly dating a man who's dating 30 other women? Most men don't wait so idk. I just feel like she tried to find love in the wrong place. Sweet girl. It's just not for her.
He does have a right to sleep with the other women if he wants and Madi has the right to not want to get engaged to someone who felt the need to sleep with two other women a few days prior. I’d probably question how much he loves me if he did that to me too. And I get it’s the way the “show works” but not every bachelor chooses to sleep with the women in the fantasy suite. You have a choice. In the end I just don’t think Madi is for him. Part of me also feels like the producers had a hand in when Madi told Peter everything. This season is OVERLY produced. Just saying.
@@EllDuclos Oh 100%. I'm not saying that Madi is wrong in any sense of her views and what she wants. She's totally entitled to that and you're right if he really did love her then he wouldn't have done it but he's also claiming to love two other women and Madi isn't the only one here. As Lauren said, she wanted to tell that to Arie but she understood that isn't her place to tell him how he should connect with these other women. Peter seems to care a lot about the physical aspect in a relationship. He's always very touchy/Feely with women. Anyone could see that. Madi knows how the bachelor works though and she didn't fully explain herself to him and that she's saving herself till the night of. Guarantee if she just was honest and upfront about everything from the jump he probably wouldn't have. I also agree that this season is very producer driven and I've hated everything about it.
@@justjosie8963 Never said you needed to be a woman of faith lol. My comment was clearly because Madi is a woman of faith so it was more directed to and about her. She's right to not want that but again.. Peter said he was also in love with two other women. So while she may not want that he has a right to explore those relationships how he wants. Madi should've considered all of this before even coming on the show. Everyone knows fantasy suits is a big thing on this franchise so there's no guarantee that guy would wait for her. This isn't the place for someone of her faith and beliefs to find someone unless that person shares that and most of the bachelor's we've had in the past have not.
Do you get to hand select the girls you really wanted or do they pick so there’s more drama? Or how do you go about the whole processes? I can’t wait for the secret show! Also you should get guests on your show too 🤗🍷♥️ Alexa and her hubby. Aspen and Parker? Or other couples or non couples 🤗
How many conversations are had off camera? I feel like there is definitely more conversations we don’t see, how many are edited out and how many are just not on camera at all? I would love to know how often the camera is around and what times it goes away and comes back. I especially believe peter has had many more conversations with Victoria than we know about, there is no way that what we’ve seen is all they’ve had.
There are sooooooo many conversations had both on and off camera that we don't get to see, just bc of the pure footage that there is. So it's not just conversations off camera, but also ones on camera that are simply edited out for timing purposes (or bc they don't fit the storyline) that we don't get to see. Unfortunately, bc of the contract of the show, most conversations between contestant and lead ARE filmed, so the pure real "alone time" they have is VERY limited, BUT doesn't mean every conversation makes it to air just bc it was filmed. It would be way too much footage to show and if it did air, there would be no structure and it would all just be so long. From time to time, there is actual alone time between contestants with no cameras at all, but handler still needs to be there in case anything important happens, to be able call production and camera crew on duty if needed. There has been the suuuuper rare occasion where handler is there, and falls asleep, and so contestants (or contestant and lead) get true alone time, but that's about it. (I'm referring to Kaitlyn's season btw, where her and Shawn stayed up way past bedtime, and so handler fell asleep and they were able to have a full private conversation BEFORE their fantasy suite.) That's why fantasy suite time is so valuable for contestants, bc then they get REAL alone time without cameras or handlers or producers or ANYBODY - and get to fully relax. For any contestant looking for real love, this time is invaluable bc of the parameters of the show. Of course, if we're talking simply between contestants, then yes there is a lot of alone time with no cameras and just handlers or producers - or sometimes even neither. Especially at night in the mansion, or when they're in the limo going somewhere, or just mulling around the house... It would be literally impossible (and useless) to film that at all times, or air all that footage lol, so they can definitely relax during those times.
Omg Lauren is the best. Yours was the first season of the bachelor I’ve ever watched. Looking back I wish they would’ve shown more of yalls relationship and more of Lauren in general, but so glad y’all have this channel now!
In a nut shell......you don’t sleep with someone a week before you are going to propose to the person you love 😳 Enough said..............Oh wait...he’s in love with all three 🙄
Are the episodes filmed consecutively every day? What do you do to entertain yourselves when others go on dates? How do the solo interviews work with the producers, do they pull you aside before, throughout, or after the dates and rose ceremonies? Does the bachelor/bachelorette have a say of who they want to go on the one-on-ones with? So many unanswered questions! ❤️
i got a whole new perspective on hannah ann! i feel like she’s a lot more mature than they edited her to be and never has negative or gossipy things to say about anyone. i wish we got to see more of her
So, I bought your season because I felt I was watching a real love story unfold. It was the most romantic story ever on the franchise, complete with drama, twists and turns, and eventually the right ending. Bachelor Brunch is so enjoyable to watch, mainly for me because it is confirmation that everything you went through was worth it. In this episode it was understandable Lauren would have flashbacks and relive some of the difficulty she experienced, but that just made her all the more relatable. She is a good commentator because she is authentic and sensitive to others. You both are fun to watch and it's nice to see your sense of humor. Good job, guys!
I'm so curious about when you get interviewed /ITM's, how much are they pushing you to say certain things, and how MANY people are behind the camera there??
Hahahaha, they are definitely pushed to say things, but ultimately up to them what they do say! Essentially, during an ITM, you are asked many "leading" questions to get the information the producer wants to get out of you. All the questions are edited out, but they're basically being asked questions nonstop which they answer into what you see on your screen. I would say that the 'pushing' is not so much problematic as the editing department is. Bc editor can then take those sound bites and play it over whatever they like, or splice it together. So that's the real catch. How many people are behind the cameras differs a lot, but it's always camera and your producer. Depending on the content you're disclosing, it could be an intimate ITM to get more info out of you (aka just the producer and contestant) or could be a few (producer, camera crew, a few other producers, maybe even Chris Harrison lol) Usually though, it's 1-2 people behind the camera. But it can be more, depending on the setting or timing of when the ITM occurs! Sometimes in earlier episodes, you see that during ITMs, there's 4-5 people behind the camera, but doesn't mean they're doing anything. They're kinda just standing there, doing their own work, not really listening. The cameras are set up in these rooms in advance with lighting tech, so they don't even necessarily need to be there depending on how well the take is going. Just the producer, really. But again, it differs based on what's going on.
I was onr who said I didn't like them, originally, as a couple. Now, I think theiy're a perfect match. It was never personally directed at Lauren. She's darling.
If you watch it back the way he looked at Lauren was different, kinda like little hearts puffing out. Always felt he would choose her, was confused when he picked Becca. I don't like the way producers televised him breaking up with her. But ultimately everyone is happy and with who they were meant to be with.♡♡♡♡♡
This is my favorite "recap" you both have done so far. And I look forward to it each week. I love knowing the inside scoop, and hearing your honest thoughts. Lauren, your honesty made this my favorite. Sometimes I forget watching, that these girls are not just "dramatic" but have real connections and feelings they are sorting out.
Yes secrets vid!!! I’m not sure if y’all are familiar with the show Unreal (on Hulu) but I’m wondering how similar the bachelor and that show is. Also, how much is scripted? How involved is Chris Harrison? What’s the worst part about living in the mansion? How do the girls have their nails done? Do you get to explore the city ur in even if you’re not on the date? What are the hometown visits actually like .... do you get to pick what you do? Is it awkward? Sorry there’s a lot I just didn’t see a lot of comments with questions and I’m super interested in this vid idea!! :)
I have a couple of questions for Secrets of the Bachelor: * Does the lead get 100% of the picks all the time or do the producers get a say so for any picks? * How do you remember all the names on night 1? That’s a lot to remember in such short amount of time.
I never watched your season but from UA-cam videos, Arie knew all along. He loved you so much he had no problem breaking up with the other girl on TV knowing all backlash. I can relate to not having a good foundation at the beginning of a relationship and it sucks. You may always have emotions about it but you also have a deeper connection working through it than others. Keep opening up lauren, you never know who can relate!
This is so random but I’ve wondered this for so long: How do the girls always have perfect nails? Do they bring in nail techs to do the girls nails? I know they can’t leave so how?!!
Lauren you were so accurate when you said that since Peter chases the drama and finds that attractive shows that he has not done enough dating yet. I agree! Once you have had some toxic relationships in your life and get past them, you do your best to stay away from them and gravitate towards stable, calm, trustworthy ppl.
Thank you Arie!! I was waiting for someone to point that out. Madison never told Peter she loved him or shared her thoughts, while the others told him what on their mind. He maybe wouldn't invested so much emotion in the others. Im very old fashion, but we have to look at it from different sides, especially on a reality show like the batchelor!! Peter is a nice guy!🌹
I thought that Madison did say something to Peter ahead of time in the hanger. She had spoken to him a bit about where she was coming from. I actually thought she was pretty clear...
She didn't tell him she was a virgin and saving herself for marriage though. Anyone can say what she said but he didn't know the "true meaning" of it until the beginning of their date..
Your bachelor recaps are my favorite! I think its nice to see a little of the background of what is going through Peters head at this point! Madison reminds me a lot of Lauren on the show because she was always quiet and well liked in the house and the bachelor obviously gravitated towards that. I hope you guys give a little background with your specific season even though i can only imagine how tough that would be! Thanks for making my Tuesday mornings
I've watched every Bachelor and Bachelorette. All 20+ years. This past week was BY FAR the most cringeworthy week to watch. That says a lot about other all the contestants. Lauren, I remember VIVIDLY watching Arie send you home and thinking "what on earth is he doing?!" And then I watched as he gained your trust back. I feel the producers are getting "hungry" for dirt. I believe Peter is definitely immature in his dating decisions but I also felt that way about Arie. So, I'm holding onto faith that Peter chooses Maddie and they explore a relationship without the cameras like Colton and Cassie. P.S. Arie, you did good with Lauren. You two have created a beautiful life together. 🥰 Maybe have Alessi help Peter with the decision making 🤣
I just love you both and love your brunch podcast. I really feel for you Lauren having to relive the fantasy suites but hey look at you now! What a great outcome!!! Best couple ever...🥰
-When do the contestants find out who the lead is going to be? How much help do you get with planning your limo entrance? -Where does The Bachelor live while all the girls live at the mansion? Did Arie ever get bored spending all that time without a phone and away from all the girls? Lol :) -Are there cars just waiting around to pick up contestants at any time when they get sent home (like on one-on-ones, group dates, when contestants will randomly self-eliminate)? Or does the lead let their producers know ahead of time? -How do producers pick their girls? What if a girl doesn't get along with their producer?
These are some great questions! I can answer a few for you. 1) I believe Bachelor / Bachelorette is in a rented Airb&b style space whilst contestants are I the mansion. However, every season is different so I'm sure this varies. (During Chris' season, he was right next door. This season, maybe Peter was staying at home, since he lives very close.) 2) Cars are not "waiting" for random sent homes, but they are on call to be ordered by production team when this occurs. There are soooo many gaps between takes and filming, that it's enough time for the car to be ordered and then arrive, trust me. However, otherwise, if it's not a random elimination, then yes, of course they are there waiting there. Sometimes car will wait after it's arrived.at destination, since the entire inside of the car has to be set up for filming. Cameras, lights, etc. Again, if it's a random unplanned event that occurs, it's slightly different but not a big deal. The car is then just ordered by production to arrive for pick up. 3) Contestants are assigned producers ahead of time on the basis of "matchability". This means your producer goes with you to your hometown for your second audition, and intro, and filming, ITM, etc etc. So you meet them ahead of time once all the contestants have been picked. They kind of become your partner and confidante and you are assigned someone you will get along with who matches your personality based on all the forms you fill out. So it's very rare for contestant not to get along with their producer, bc their chemistry is so important - since you'll be spending more time with them than the lead. On the rare occasions this has happened that we've heard of, the contestant has spoken up about "not enjoying their experience" or "feeling betrayed" or "not everything is what it seems, guys. don't believe reality TV." But this is so rare, and otherwise, all is good! 4) The trickiest question you asked, is ... "When do the contestants find out who the lead is?" This differs every single time, and even for every single contestant. From what I know, it's rolling auditions and admissions. So let's say, you applied years ago over and over, and were just picked now. Obviously you don't know who the lead is, so you may find out right when you're locked in the hotel before going there. Or you might find out during your producer's visit to your hometown for your intro video. It really depends on WHEN the producers pick a lead, and when they disclose that info to the contestants. But basically, it's all a timing issue. If they're able to, they tell the contestants as soon as possible. So that they have "lines" and info going in. If there's time between applying and a new season, then someone might actually apply BECAUSE they like the lead. So then they obviously already know early on. it really just depends each season. The most it's happened though, is that once they're chosen, and camera crew comes to film in their hometown for their intro, they find out who the lead is. But again, if lead was disclosed early, they may have even known before, and wanted to apply for that very reason..Hence sometimes "I only applied cuz it's you!" etc.. Or in cases where there's a timing issue and lead is disclosed late, then they might just find out at the same time we do, so they're just winging it and inventing crap on the spot. It just really depends. Ok, I hope that helped with most of your questions! They were definitely tough, bc with a lot of your questions, it really depends on the scenario and changes each time. So there's no specific formula. (With other stuff on the show though, there definitely is...)
Oh, sorry! I didn't answer your "how much help do you get planning your limo entrance?" Now this question is a real doozy. These entrances are VERY heavily produced and take forever, as you can imagine. So, actually, whilst limo entrances are happening -- exec Mike is watching whole thing in control room -- and interrupts to reshoot things or ask for other lines. Everyone on crew Is in the control room watching, Chris Harrison included. They review how it's going and decide if it needs to be reshot or if a different line needs to be delivered. You can bring your own lines or have your own entrance planned, but ultimately, he will give the go ahead in the moment. He decides whether it flies or not, and if he wants a reshoot, he tells you what you need to say/do. You can bring your own props and pets, but beyond that, production offers a lot of spit-balling and advice. Most limo entrances on first night are not done in one take.
Arie, “This is not about me’” 🤣 awe! Lauren, I totally see why this episode made you nauseous. It would be hard not to relive that, in your own journey. I love the strength you both have and how loving and forgiving you were towards Arie! I love you guys together!! Arie was the best bachelor, he’s the Sweetest guy!
Lauren always looks beautiful. I was re-watching Arie's season and I totally respected how genuine he was the whole way through. My burning question for your video is: what was going through Arie's mind when he got up from the table when Lauren said she was falling in love with him in Tuscany?
Thanks, you two are a lot more insightful than most of the posts/videos on the internet. It's nice to hear a conversation with consideration of the other factors during the show such as having privacy to talk and let your guard down during Fantasy Suites and Peter possibly having some more dating to do to learn what's good for him. You two are also super cute! :)
Good times guys for staying happy together and overcoming the odds. I've never thought or agreed with the whole animosity against you both. I am so glad to see you both take care of each other lovingly..
Secrets for the bachelor: the first night do the roses have the women’s names on them? I can’t believe the bachelor/bachelorette can remember every single girl that first night
Anna Christy I’m interested about this too. I heard the bachelor/Ette study pictures of them to memorize the names before they even meet them. I heard they have a book of pictures with names and memorize them for rose ceremonies
Hey, Chris Harrison answered this one but it would be interesting to see if that’s the honest answer or just the producer answer ua-cam.com/video/luAxg6ruYyY/v-deo.html
The lead is given a list with the names of the contestants and the order in which he has to give the roses out. Every single rose, is "one take", and so between each rose there is a break between takes, where he/she can look over to remember the order in which he/she has to give the roses. Super simple. The producers direct the order of the roses given out for filming purposes - to make sure they get the right camera shots and angles. So up until the end, the lead has no control over the order of the names. That's all producers. He/she has control over WHO they're picking (unless it's the villain or one causing drama), but not the order in which he/she is giving the names during the rose ceremony. Hope that helps! FYI, an average rose ceremony takes at least an hour of filming and with ITMs and exits, it's about 3 hours. So it's really grueling on contestants and crew. However, as things boil down, it's just about an hour of filming, but still really long bc the lead has to take a lengthy pause between each name (even if there's only 3 left, for instance) for camera shot purposes. Past leads have said it's the most annoying/exhausting part of the show, just bc of how long it takes to film, and how little control they have over what's going on.
I think the ladies all in one room is really messed up. I also don't feel it is no different as Colton being a Virgin ( so he said) as for Madison saving herself.( however Madi giving an ultimatum is not fair.. I feel Peter is in love with being in love. I think he is infatuated with these 3 ladies and his heart is very conflicted on which person to choose, I think he doesn't want to hurt anyone. I hope he chooses the person that completes him. Secrets of the Bachelor if they are good juicy ones would be awesome.
Peter Weber is a Leo. Out of his top 6, the following contestants have these zodiac signs & let's include Hannah B.: Madi-Aries, Hannah Ann-Taurus, Victoria F-Libra, Kelsey-Aries, Natasha-Aries, Kelley-Pisces, Hannah B.-Libra. Based on Zodiac, Peter would prob be most compatible with Madi, Kelsey & Natasha. And only Madi is remaining so, there's that...
Cassandra Pena I read somewhere that they can use their own homes if they want to or they can choose to rent a home for the dinner and there’s a lot that have rented
it depends if they want to use their own house or use rented air&b ! It's up to the family, basically. But if they choose rented space, the setup just takes longer, that's all.
I am crying at Lauren's face in the still frame when you were talking about the secrets of the bachelor. also looking forward to that episode!! also Lauren we stan you girl, love your recaps and i really felt for you hurting having to relive your own experience
What happens on the flights...they must be so long sometimes , is everyone always on different flights? Do they give everyone enough time to get over jet lag?
Hahaha no, contestants are on the same flight together. They're not separated unless theres a technical issue or something. This is why they don't change countries once it gets down to the wire, or else they would potentially have to be on separate flights. And I'm sure on the rare occasion where they do change countries during final ceremonies, that's exactly what they did - separate them to the best of their ability, so that they don't have to see each other. But otherwise, before that point, they're together on the planes!
However, the lead is always on a separate flight to arrive earlier for set up and filming, since there's more to do. So he/she arrives on location a day or two before with his/her producer and crew. Gets set into their hotel, and explores city for some solo camera shots and sound bites, and then the contestants join later, in their own hotel/resort.
I can feel your anxiety through the video, Lauren. And I can’t blame you. You’ve been there and done that.... what’s important now is you are happy and have a family. Only wish you guys the best.
Lauren I love your honesty and have the utmost respect for your feelings during this time. At the end of the day you and Arie ended up together and things worked out the way they were supposed to. You both are stronger and more in love because of it and I can tell your marriage will last a lifetime. God bless you both!
Question for the Secrets of the Bachlor: Do the contestants know where the lead is staying and if so, what keeps them from sneaking over for more time?
No they don't know where the lead is staying. Unless a producer tells them or it's part of the storyline. (e.g. When they surprise them at their hotel room for dramatic twist, or when producers are forcing something, etc.) Whenever contestants have known where lead is staying, they HAVE snuck over lol. (Aka Chris season, Ben F season, and I'm sure more... I just can't remember all.) But yeah it's up to producers if they want to tell contestants, which they usually don't (unless there's a reason, aka for stirring drama, or they want to create a scene.)
But otherwise, under normal circumstances, they don't know where the lead is staying every time they travel to new places. Or even whilst in the Mansion in LA. (Unless the producers want them to know, like on Chris' season.)
I love seeing how Lauren and Arie are together - so sweet! Now, on to the bachelor: Peter's comments make me think he's definitely going to go after Madison. However, Madison said she'd already compromised quite a bit up until this point just for Peter so I'm not sure going forward with him would be good for her because too much compromise can lead to resentment. Other theory was that he would go back to Hannah B. but he really seems in love with Madison. I feel for Victoria F. acts like she had really difficult people in her past who trampled on her confidence. I don't think she's nuts, I think she just had some not so good people mess with her. Good for her taking a chance on finding love on The Bachelor!
I love seeing you two together now. I always loved Lauren and knew you two would end up together because we could all tell Lauren was Arie’s love of his life
Didn’t really favor lauren on Aries season because she was so stand offish but through these videos, i see her personality and LOVE HER. I see how they truly are a great match!!
Meredith Schrantz i so agree with you...Lauren is great...they both are..
Meredith Schrantz totally agree! I adore her now. I think they are such a great match. The producers sometimes give girls a weird edit and we don’t see their personality as much.
I actually loved her the entire time, and this is just the best way for everyone to see it. She is awesome!
Rainbo feminist
Joseph Mannion - as far as I know, that’s not an insult to women at all. Not sure if you meant it to be.
Agreed!
@@mannionsmemories5753 And.your point?
Rainbo feminist like u should shhhhhh 😂I can’t stand women who write novels cuz they are triggered. WAHHHHHH. Like shut up grandma get off the internet.
Peter said in an interview that his front runner hasn’t changed since week 4...and I believe his front runner is/was Madison. I feel that if he REALLY cared THAT much about her that he would have been able to keep it in his pants knowing how important it was to her, but he did it anyways and just asked her to get over it. I’m salty with his ass.
actually he said his front ‘runners’ as in plural didn’t change after week 4
Qs for video:
- Does the lead have 100% control of who gets the roses/who goes home.
- Can the lead/contestants go out when they travel and explore on their own, if so, what do
they do?
-
Thanks for this! Well chat about that soon 👏🏼
Lauren and Arie I love you guys!!!♥️ definitely one of favorite couples
Katy the music question is for many reasons.
1. The show would have to pay to license any background music
@@katy5362 my pleasure! Reality Steve talks about this stuff all the time, and so does Olivia Caridi. Very interesting stuff!
I don’t think he’s actually in love with 3 women. He loves Madison and is infatuated with the other two
Yes, he's lustin after those 2.
Agree
He's not in love with Madison. He just wants what he can't have. She's playing a game that she wants to win. She doesn't really show real emotion.
I don';t think he loves Madison. I think he may like her more than the other two but love is pushing it.
i think he loves 2 women, hannah ann and madi. i don’t know about “in love” but he loves them. he’s lusting after victoria
I agree with Lauren on this one. Peter might end up alone and if he doesn’t he wont get engaged in the finale.
Live Love Loaeza he already confessed he's with someone. Maybe not engaged but with someone
I completely agree. He’s not ready
Traci Lord wait where?
Question for secrets of the bachelor: do they make you keep the girl causing all the drama/ the villan? Because they always seem to keep that girl on for as long as possible even when the guy doesn’t seem that into her
Courtney Torr thisssss
Victoria F has deep seeded childhood issues. Her communication, or lack of, isn't from past relationships. It goes much farther back than that.
Stephanie Scott also I wish we could of met her family, that was not fair .
I completely agree. Her reasoning for her communication skills made no sense whatsoever.
Juliétte I agree it would have given us more insight to who she is (and they seemed sweet)
I don’t really think you can assume that from a show with so many cuts and edits.
Steph 100% She had No right to make those demands on him. No Better than Luke P
I agree!
Peter's not ready for marriage either. This has been a pretty harsh learning curve for all of them.
that episode was so cringey.. i cannot believe they had the three girls in one hotel room! that’s insane
I agree
you described it so well in one word, "cringey"
What
I still remember Lauren's comment when Arie sent her home: "Why are you doing this?" It was an atypical comment for that moment.
She had nothing else to communicate with Peter though.
What Lauren says about him needing dating experience to appreciate a level headed person is exactly how I feel too
Question for the new series: when you watched your season back, how accurate are the conversations once they’ve been chopped up and edited?
Secrets of the bachelor sounds great!
How can you pack all those clothes in 2 suit cases
Haha yes!
ID love ❤️ to hear what you packed.
How did you pack those gowns without them getting wrinkled.
Lol
Lauren is so pretty, I seriously just looked at her face the whole time. Her side profile, just everything about her face, her smile, and features. She really is a beautiful girl, and Arie is a lucky man. I couldn't keep my eyes off her on the show either. I am glad you ended up together, because Lauren was always my favorite, and I wasn't surprised at all that in the end it was really Lauren. I always thought Lauren seemed genuine and sweet to.
When Lauren calls Arie out for not getting his sh*t together his season
(Many past leads have said it's the dreaded part of the show, not just bc of breaking hearts, but bc of how long it takes to film.)
Of course, as show progresses and there are fewer women, the ceremony is shorter to film -- but apparently still really long, bc the lead has to pause so substantially between each rose in order for the crew to get the right footage and shots of the contestants.
I love Madi!!
Nb
i agree peter’s a great guy but he’s not the guy for her. what she wants and expects from a relationship is not him and that’s okay but i can see how much they do love and care for each other and why it’s so hard to walk away.
Lauren's personality is the best. She seems so freaking sweet. I wish we saw more of that during the season! You guys seem so happy and have the cutest baby and fam, and I love it!
I love the way Arie is so into these recaps. I can tell that he is really an intuitive compassionate guy based on his comments. And Lauren as well!
I agreed with Madi for speaking up and letting him know where she stands. -Even though it goes against the "natural course" of the show. *Angel*
You are great reviewers/ re-cappers with the advantage of having insights.
I feel like you only picked Becca cause her ex came to try to win her back, (men love a competition) it was so obvious on your season that you wanted Lauren , you told her you loved her after u dumped her 😜! Glad it all worked out for you guys !
my thoughts as well!
Yes! I felt he was going to pick Lauren from the beginning! That chemistry was there from the start! I’m so glad they ended up together, married, and have the cutest baby girl!!
It was so hard for me to tell! I feel like they didn’t give Lauren enough screen time
Hannah Ann was awesome in this episode.
Katy C great questions!
The food question you have, they eat with their producers earlier (b4 the dinner part of the date). The food is made but just for decoration. It's usually cold.
@@LaurenAndArie hi Lauren, how do you feel when people say they used to NOT like you but now they do? If you can address that on questions asked.
They dont remember all of their names lol
@@9babyblu oh man that sounds kind of gross
Love the "Secrets of The Bachelor Idea"! Keep up the great work :)
Thanks! Love your recaps too!
Arie is killing me with that Grandpa glasses😂😂
Do the "contestants" know who the lead is going to be when they agree to go on the show? Does the lead have 100% say in who goes home each week/what the dates are and who the dates are with?
Tess when doing intro packages, they are well aware at that point who the bachelor is and are free to bow out before night one commences
@@sakura360ify have you been a producer or contestant on the show? I've seen your comments on some other vids and am curious how you seem to know so much. This is a good question for the upcoming Bach secrets from Lauren and Arie.
That's an awesome question!!
By the time they start filming yes, but a lot of them apply to be on the bachelor and have no idea who it is
To Lauren and Arie.
I noticed Victoria's nails and there's no way she got them done 2 months ago.
Good question! Also women who dye their hair and stuff! You don't want those roots growing out
Yes they are!
“Fit in two days” I say this every other day. So far no results 😂
You don't have to be a woman of faith to NOT want your man boning two other women just a few days before your engagement.
(I'm referring to Kaitlyn's season btw, where her and Shawn stayed up way past bedtime, and so handler fell asleep and they were able to have a full private conversation BEFORE their fantasy suite.)
That's why fantasy suite time is so valuable for contestants, bc then they get REAL alone time without cameras or handlers or producers or ANYBODY - and get to fully relax.
In a nut shell......you don’t sleep with someone a week before you are going to propose to the person you love 😳 Enough said..............Oh wait...he’s in love with all three 🙄
Do the bachelors or bachelorettes get to have any input on the countries or cities that are visited during the season?
Are the episodes filmed consecutively every day? What do you do to entertain yourselves when others go on dates? How do the solo interviews work with the producers, do they pull you aside before, throughout, or after the dates and rose ceremonies? Does the bachelor/bachelorette have a say of who they want to go on the one-on-ones with? So many unanswered questions! ❤️
i got a whole new perspective on hannah ann! i feel like she’s a lot more mature than they edited her to be and never has negative or gossipy things to say about anyone. i wish we got to see more of her
I love you guys as a couple. I've always been a big Arie fan since Emily's season. So glad you guys ended up together.
Did not know Lauren was a scorpio! Love that shirt😍
Sarah I’m also born of the year under the Scorpio sign.
Christina Nguyen LoL, it’s the sign of the month, not year
Yes! Look forward to these every week. Love y'all together!
I just love how Lauren is DIVING into that food the whole time. You go girl. Same.
Amber LeShane i would hardly call that diving lmaooo. Mine would’ve been gone in two seconds
I think its rude when people say "I didn't like Lauren, but I do now!" Smh...
Not necessarily. Her personality wasn’t properly conveyed on the show and now it is, if anything it’s a compliment
I was onr who said I didn't like them, originally, as a couple. Now, I think theiy're a perfect match. It was never personally directed at Lauren. She's darling.
It sounds like a compliment, but not really..it's like saying "you used to be ugly, but now you're not."
If you watch it back the way he looked at Lauren was different, kinda like little hearts puffing out. Always felt he would choose her, was confused when he picked Becca. I don't like the way producers televised him breaking up with her. But ultimately everyone is happy and with who they were meant to be with.♡♡♡♡♡
@@rain3743 A lot of people have made similar comments, maybe Lauren can comment on that?? @Lauren and Arie
Ann Katheryn Fadal thanks for this! We’ll chat about it
Really appreciate seeing you two in a much more low-key setting! Your personalities really shine when you're not edited to fit a narrative.
I have a couple of questions for Secrets of the Bachelor:
* Does the lead get 100% of the picks all the time or do the producers get a say so for any picks?
Amy Connell I have wondered the same thing
And spray tans!
Omg I wondered the same!
Amy Connell literally always wondered that too!
Yea they for sure must have beauty ppl on deck to come wherever they are. A lot of shows & people do that. Just like hair & makeup
Please keep doing this same thing for the musical bachelor show that is coming out!
We totally should!
Love how you two listen and talk to each other. Very respectful.
I love these brunch conversations ! Your relationship is amazing !
Lol :)
-Are there cars just waiting around to pick up contestants at any time when they get sent home (like on one-on-ones, group dates, when contestants will randomly self-eliminate)? Or does the lead let their producers know ahead of time?
-How do producers pick their girls? What if a girl doesn't get along with their producer?
These are some great questions! I can answer a few for you.
1) I believe Bachelor / Bachelorette is in a rented Airb&b style space whilst contestants are I the mansion. However, every season is different so I'm sure this varies. (During Chris' season, he was right next door. This season, maybe Peter was staying at home, since he lives very close.)
2) Cars are not "waiting" for random sent homes, but they are on call to be ordered by production team when this occurs.
Didn’t see your season, but I love you guys together now. Go Scorpios!
Good times guys for staying happy together and overcoming the odds. I've never thought or agreed with the whole animosity against you both. I am so glad to see you both take care of each other lovingly..
Not a bachelor question but, i love your podcast. You two are so cute. And alessi is adorable
I absolutely LOVE how kind you are while talking about other people's lives.
Hey, Chris Harrison answered this one but it would be interesting to see if that’s the honest answer or just the producer answer

I think there are pictures with names near peter out of camera view.
It is always nice to see couples from the show still together and are happy!
I want to know when yall go to home towns are the house really the parents house or is it a set up by the show ??
He told Madison he loved her. She hoped for a “jump the fence” turn away from everyone else kind of love. But that’s not what Peter means by love.
Lauren I love your honesty and have the utmost respect for your feelings during this time. At the end of the day you and Arie ended up together and things worked out the way they were supposed to. You both are stronger and more in love because of it and I can tell your marriage will last a lifetime. God bless you both!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love love love you guys together and I'm Lauren's biggest fan!
Pls continue reviewing these episodes, you do it with realization and humor
I actually feel like Peter and Victoria didn’t sleep together and that’s why she was so pissed when she found out what madi told hannah.
no he totally did... he had the biggest post-sex glow
Throughout, the only thing Peter and Victoria had going for them was sex.
Your guys energy is so in synch! You two truly blend so perfectly together. ❤️
Question for the Secrets of the Bachlor:
Do the contestants know where the lead is staying and if so, what keeps them from sneaking over for more time?
This is one of my favorite recaps 👌
I love seeing you two together now. I always loved Lauren and knew you two would end up together because we could all tell Lauren was Arie’s love of his life
