Lockdown Birthday

Elin celebrates her 6th Birthday in Lockdown. She would have been celebrating with all of her school friends at a soft play - (always a favourite!) but for obvious coronavirus reasons - we couldn't.
The day wasn't as we expected it to go and I know we are not the only ones in this situation but we made the best out of a bad, uncontrolled situation. We smiled, we were kind to each other, we enjoyed family time and the Birthday Girl felt special. It was a different Birthday and very apparent that the world is a different place right now. Very apparent too was what we originally took for granted. A big Happy Birthday to all of those celebrating at this time without family and friends!
