This is video 1/25 of my Christmas Video Giveaway 2015. Off to a booming start hehe.
This was the first project I decided to tackle, and lucky for me we are both pretty speedy editors, so we finished this in a day. COLLABS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FINISHED THIS FASTTTT!! Just saying.
So she asked yesterday about doing a collab, and as soon as this song was mentioned I was like "YUS." Basically. And I said we should have me vid Disney and her vid DreamWorks since that's kind of who we are, and voilaaaa! Here we have it!
Disclaimer because I know someone will say something: Yes, of course I know that Monsters University is Pixar, but Pixar is owned by Disney so it counts. Mostly because I didn't have a fifth CGI Disney movie on my computer. Whoops.
ANYWAYS, yes. So I did the Disney and Fan did the DreamWorks stuffs. Her parts are so good and mine are so blahhhh. What a sad time for me. X'D
Haha, merry suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuperdy duper early Christmas, dear! I know it's stupidly early for it to be a Christmas gift, but thanks so much for wanting to collab and suggesting this song and for working on this with me! It's been a blast, and it came out fantastic!! You've always been one of my favorite editors to watch because you know how to match clips to lyrics sooooooo well. It's almost scary. Okay, I'm gonna say what I said to Fan a while ago (because it's for both of you) and then I'll go into details about my favorite Disney parts (your stuff):
MAGICAL! I love this to pieces! You're both experts on lyrical literalness so this was just perfect!
Dannyphanvideor! XD HAhaha! Genius! It's like you two were meant to collaborate :) And the transitions between your parts were so seamless!
And now let's talk about your parts! **Rubs hands together**:
First of all, I loved all the Wreck-it Ralph parts, they matched the song so well! Metaphorically and literally.

+engsarak Totally taking credit for the combined collab name. B-) Oh yeahhhh. I loved vidding WIR. I could use any scene and it didn't feel overused. 8'D Yayyy! For Tangled, I was purposefully trying to use scenes that were not overused, hence the whole Snuggly Duckling thing hehehe. The rap BH6 part is my favorite part I did, I think. The rap part in general is my favorite part of the collab hahaha!! AND THANK YOU FOR NOTICING THE GOGO SCENE ON WHAT WE'RE FIGHTING FOR. I thought it was gonna be too abstract for people to get because I'm usually so literal I'd have put an actual fight scene. But I wanted to go deeper. :P Thank you sooooo much; you're great. Also I still want the Hiccelsa symbol in my life. ;D
