My wife called me at work saying the builders needed my bike moved. I was stressing out that my wife might drop it moving it back 2 meters in a straight line lol.
Very entertaining, thank you. You both speak really well and clear. I don’t know who is braver. Him for lending the bike, or her for trying it. The Zx14r is so incredibly smooth, easy to go slow or fast. Amazing fuelling. Surprisingly forgiving bike. I like how you summed it up, a gentleman’s bike. I ended up swapping mine over for a ninja 1000sx for a more versatile all rounder. I really miss the presence the zx14r has, but for me I’m super happy with the decision. It still has that smooth engine feel. I also have a Honda cb125f which I use for my daily. Come the weekend it makes the transition between the 2 feel extreme. You both chose the best colour IMO. Keep up the great work.
Momentum and speed on a motorbike is actually better and more stable. Not excessive speed but enough for the bike to happily take its true line. Looks like your going to need to replace the clutch after this one haha, coasting it around that roundabout gave that bike no momentum and was not going fast enough to counter steer. She was riding it like a bicycle. I was very nervous for your Kawazaki. On the plus side it take a lot of courage to get on any motorbike so big respect to you, more miles more smiles. Great coaching and positivity from the hubby.
Did she have the clutch pulled in on the roundabout? That’s not a good idea but yeah she did good, I had the BMW k1600 and that bike is HEAVY af but it’s so easy to ride it’s hard to fathom 😂
Good on her for giving it a go, it's nice for people to respect what bikes can do and she's done nothing but that in this video. She has a great teacher too of course 😁
You have a lot of good content. Well done and looking to see how it moves on 😉 Do you have a video comparing the history and difference between the Kawazaki ZZR, Suzuki Hayabusa and Honda Blackbird? It would be interesting to know from someone with experience what to expect moving across these bikes and across time since late 90s... Most videos focus on top speed only, horse power etc. But it would be interesting to see what you think about daily use and comfort features.
The 4-2-1 exhaust is a must for this bike, I’m doing the same and did with previous Hayabusas took a lot of weight off parking lot balancing. Excellent way of respecting the bike instead of going all in.
Nice to see Mrs Goblin on the 14, but anything 20mph and under she should really be on the bake brake, cause if something happens she's gonna grab a handful of that front brake and dump it.
I had to change the seat on mine to a Corbin. The oe seat was so uncomfortable for me. Also put bar risers on. In my eyes nothing beats the comfort or a zzr1100d.
This was very interesting. It's a really beautiful bike but why no cruise control? The ZH2 has it but a ZX-14R would seem to be a much more comfortable travel/cruising bike.
Ca c'est une bonne idée et c'est cool également que nos homologues au Féminins soient sur nos Saintes ZZR 1400 c'est Génial, je vous trouves fantastiques tous les deux, et tes vidéos Goblin Rides sont très attrayantes, Bien a vous deux, Cyril de France;
Well done Mrs Goblin. On a bike confidence is everything cracking stuff . Do think you could do your test and training would be great content all the best .
The only problems I encountered on the zzr1400 was back peddling ie parking from down hill big mistake fantastic machine when riding slowly cover the back brake 👍
Very well done Mrs Goblin, I can’t ride bikes myself due to disability but I do love this Channel and it actually is a great channel! Keep these going guys x
11 years ago today, i took my first ride on my husbands ZZR14. I ride a litre twin and I absolutely shat myself back then, but felt it was more of a pussy cat with his clear instructions, once I was off on a few miles. I loved it. Totally different experience to my bike. That all being said, I still have the Italian twin, and he has replaced the old Z with a younger model Z. I refuse to ride it!!! I honestly dont know why 😂 its almost as if going from silver softy to green mean machine is a barrier? Its really strange. The silver was apparently much more of a live wire than the current one too!
she should not ride bikes, ..that's assuming that anyone who fluffs about so much is not inclined to it temperamentally and therefore likely not very good at it.
@@granite676 well that may be possible occasionally I guess, but she would be getting to safe competence via much practice where? ... on the road ...I suggest she doesn't do that.
Beautiful bike, guy's, i just purchased a z900, and love it all day.

Oooh, that hurts to think about. I might have suddenly gotten sick and needed to rush home. Hope it worked out okay!
@@markwest9119 it did although she didn't know how to take the steering lock off so ended up half on the lawn.
@@SloboloboVFR Good to hear! Much better off on the lawn than on the cement or pavement. : -)

"If you on it, it's not that big!" - that's what he said!

Fair play for giving the ZZR a go Mrs.Goblin.
I think she was being funny when she said she lets you rider her bike all the time…and you didn’t get that she was trying to be funny…which was funny
Great job guys I feel this is an overlooked subject in this current day and age of massive fast bikes! Learning Respect! 100%

Well done, Wifey👏👏👏 You looked more confident and more relaxed on the ZZR, compared to the ZX9.
Great job on your first go on the mighty 14.

Ohhhh yea my personal favorite ❤
I think it's a great bike for a new rider, it's low and has a good power curve.
As long as you don't how it open past 4k

Great video ❤ hi from Holland
awesome ! whats your &mrs' inseam, i cant flat foot it myself
🙏🍩 Love from Scotland 🍩🙏
It’s only a bike remember that’s your wife she isn’t replaceable.
How tall is wife ?
The slower you go, the more likely you are to drop it………anyway, Fuk that. My missus is lucky if I let her wash my ZX-14 let alone ride it.
wow aren't you a generous one 😁
Absolutley, I won't let anyone ride the beast, except for my mechanic, especially someone that hasn't passed their test...
Once the gyro effect of the wheels turning kicks in I bet that bike is a dream to ride 🎉
What is the height of your wife? If you dont mind. Thanks
Why do some if not most Brits pronounce it as if it is spelled Kawazaki? Because you give the letter S the sound of the letter Z. Why is that?
Because it's how the japanese say it !?!?
She's brave to ride with such a big bike, I would be a nervous mess (Biggest bike I've ridden is a cbr650r and not fast)
I wanna be your girlfriend so i can ride on that bike ❤❤

I think she was just nervous, felt a lot of pressure and lack of experience on this particular bike. She seems to ride her 125cc more comfortably.
Rubbish ! all it takes is practice practice and time which eventually brings on the confidence and makes you rise to the challenge 👍
