Jeff, I just got my hands on about 20 hours of CBS FM, from 1968, to 1983. That includes The Young Sound, the Rock format, and ofcourse, the Oldies format. I have a big digitizing project, but I'll start posting in a few weeks when I get back from vacation.
I think the whole point of using these 30 years (2013) later was to try to recreate the old Z100 sound. Remember, back in 1984, CBS was playing the music of the 50's & 60s, so these jingles might sound out of place going into Elvis or Doo wop.
